Yes, had it a lot as a kid and loved it.
McDonald's to sell chicken wings:
Don't mind if they do.
Never been to Super Duper so I'll go with Five Guys.
Who wins JGP Latvia?
Midori Ito's death drop or Brian Boitano's?
Then whyyyyy did you recommend it to me in your Top Ten Ice Dances of all Time list?? I demand a replacement this instant and I shan't answer your ToT until I've received it!
I liked it better when I saw it a few weeks ago. Perhaps I was hopped up on sugar. Anyway, I told you in that post that I'm really Boris the Spider.
I like V/M's Latin dance from 2011 Worlds and their Carmen from 2013 Worlds. I also like D/W's Samson et Dalila from 2009 Worlds and their Die Fledermaus, though I've forgotten which performance to it was the most polished. They were good.
Why you asked me about ice dancing is one of the great mysteries of my profile page.
Which Gwendal Peizerat hair style?
Early days (pre 97-98)
R & J (97-98)
Later years (02)
or you'd rather watch Marina's conception / birth videos with husband Rasputin
R&J, though I don't mind the long tresses of his later competitive years.
Re #270, I'd rather dine in awkward semi-privacy in the first choice than have people fuss over me in the second.
My parents just announced that they're showing up in a few weeks. Which place to take them?
or some cheap Chinese place because they're going to b*tch about the first two being too expensive and not Chinese enough for them even though I'm paying for it
Take them to Michael Mina and insist on ordering them the most sculptural menu items possible.
Gordon Ramsay: yay or nay?
Take them to a cheap Chinese place called "Jade Dragon", "Hunan Village", or something generic along those lines.
How many intrusive french kids could you get through before socking one in the face?
#283: 1, if I'd had a bad skate; 100, if I'd been spectacular.
#282: I'd sock him too.
Trashy Tonya, early days
Trashy Tonya, later days?
1) 1,871 ((((child in black, who was obstructing Wylie's view of his scores))))
2) Early days. LaVona .
Wylie's Henry V/Saint-Saens LP: oui ou non?
Take a wild guess.
Which are you most excited to see?
Carolina's Dvorak "humoresque" sp
Alissa's Liszt "consolation No. 3 in D flat major"
neither. screw them both.
I was going to say that you'd committed the unpardonable crime of changing your mind, but I see that you merely said you thought it overrated, which still leaves room for liking it.
Kostner's "Humoresque" SP.
Skaters born today: Todd Eldredge or Yukari Nakano?
NON-ADMIN EDIT: Link removed per siouxdonym's request.
Well, his ivy league sensibilities still nauseate me (sorry UMBS ) but I liked his skating and liked the program. As a child I always thought he vaguely resembled Mr. Bean. Regardless, I was a total idiot jerkoff back then (as opposed to today, where I am only partially). I should thank you to remove that link immediately.
Gorgeous Yukari. As a young skate fan, I always thought Todd was the most repulsive thing ever.
Revisiting Yukari's Firebird long program.
A choreographic disaster.
Surprisingly voidy for a skating warhorse.
A costly choice in an olympic season.
Very good, but no "Giselle".
first decade of competitive skating you actually find watchable, based on what you've seen up to this point:
2000s (You lie.)
Most swoon-worthy scene:
Most pleasant smell:
Freash baking bread
Clothes dried in the sun
UMBS ~ back to #259 ~ sadly I don't like grapefruit although how you describe it makes me wish I did
Clothes dried in the sun
Should there be a higher number of skaters per GP event? ie raise the number per event from 8 to 10
yay or ney
Next Fed chairman:
the Brontë sisters
Monet's Garden at Giverny
the garden at Sissinghurst Castle?
Monet at Giverny.
And Janet Yellen.
Favorite SF neighborhood:
All of the above!
I can't say I approve of his yellow kitchen but Monet's Garden seems lovely. Too much frilly stuff at Sissinghurst.
ETA: All of the above!
Do you believe in Tomas Verner?
Believe in his ability to skate up to his potential? No.
Believe that he's awfully nice to look at? Yes. Especially that smile.
Kamala Harris: nation's hottest attorney general?
No ... although Mr halffull may think differently
