They're equal. Think about it: The gold medals went to worthy teams who gave underwhelming long programs. The silvers went to under-the-radar teams who hit on the right night. And the bronze.....two disasters by S/S. :wuzrobbed:

    Best triple axel:
    Han Yan
    or
    Yuzuru Hanyu

That sounds about right. :wuzrobbed: for S/S

They both have massive 3 a! I would go for Yuzuru's since he can do pretty much anything with 3a--transition, amazing combo.

    Best pair throw jump:
    V/T's 3loop throw
    or
    S/S's 3flip throw

    1) 2014 LP

    2)generally speaking, V&T's throw 3loop; in the 2014 Oly, S&S's throw 3 flip

Quad triple toe- Chan or Hanyu?

If you had magic powers and could guarantee one of these skaters go clean in tomorrow's SP, who would you pick?

    Joubert
    Plush
    Abbott
    Brown
    Patrick
    ______________?

I want Chan to win but skating needs a clean SP for Takahashi more.

    Belita Jepson-Turner
    or
    Katherine Healy?

Belita. Katherine was yuppy trash according to that one fluff piece. :)P)

Evil aliens have forced you to stick a metaphorical fork in one of the following. Who do you pick?
    Daisuke's career
    Abbott's career
    Weir (as a commentator)
    Buttle + Unknown husbands marriage
    Frank Carroll's coaching career
    or
    Rohene Ward's choreography

I really don't have preference. I rather search for european feeds where I cannot understand a thing they say and fully rejoice in skating itself:p

Tara and Scott would make better duo I guess.

Whose performance at men's SP at Sochi was more inspired and shocking in a great way?
    Peter Liebers
    Alexander Majorov
    Brian Joubert:cheer:

I avoid them too, actually. Austrian feed is :kickass

Joubert for the comeback voids (STICK IT Didier ) With a clean long program, he may secure the necessary endorsements to fund the launch of his porno career. :encore: (I'm his agent :sekret:)

No. I seriously doubt it, at any rate. At worst, he'd be guilty of "faking" something that was real to begin with (and again, I really don't think that's the case here).

More bittersweet for you as a viewer:

figure skating at the Vancouver Olympics
figure skating at the Sochi Olympics so far
purple what is this "bittersweetness" of which you speak?

I think Sochi needs to be over before I can honestly answer that but I will still say it looks to be Sochi so far.

Should women's ice hockey be cut from the Olympics?

    YES
    or
    NO

    Sure, why not?

Oh man, that's a tough subject. Pass. My initial reaction is a resounding NAY but then when you think about children suffering and in pain...I pass.
