Skunkhawk is a really good performer but I'm not sure she really sang enough of the song... I think it's forgettable

I know! If she goes home this week, we'll know the reason why. :drama:

Except Dez is doing his best to make certain it's him. Good for you Dez. Let skunkhawk stay and you go.

Dez is pretty and he knows it... but in the middle of it he got far too out of breath, I prefer Michaela to him but his looks are going to keep him around for a while

You must have been watching really hard tonight.

Poor Xtina. She had to wear her old ripped shirt tonight that the weedwhacker ate.

I didn't think skunkhawk did all that well tonight--it sounded like karaoke. Really good karaoke, but karaoke nonetheless. It was like she couldn't read the words on the teleprompter.

Skunk really has to get over her P!nk worship.

 at Blake bringing up the original song. Too many people forget that Glee does covers.

XTina's got the girls out tonight - they're hanging by a string.

I shouldn't have looked at iTunes before watching the show because it made me less excited...the song choices are pretty mundane for the most part. I'm hopeful for Amanda and Melanie...but Sylvia doing My Heart Will Go On...:scream:

Because Sylvia's rendition of Katy Perry was :kickass: The sadness of the lyrics came through in Sylvia's version MUCH better than the original

That's the best Adrianna's sounded. Not my cup of tea, but good song choice for her; she put a little sass in it. I want to hear Xtina sing it though just from her singing the "good girl".

I agree, Syliva killed that Katy Perry song, but just about everyone sounds better singing a Katy Perry song than Katy Perry...that became evident when Lea Michelle did "Firework" on Glee.

Wait... how did Julio from last week not make it?! What?! As for Adrianna doing Carrie Underwood, she's the be all end all for me so you damn well better make sure you have the voice and she was just kinda passable...

    This guy.. he's totally vulnerable.

Is Adam trying to ruin Amanda by telling her to go up into falsetto instead of using her natural power? Ugh!

Not my favorite from Amanda. I'm curious if the coaches picked the songs or the singers did. She's so talented, but song choice can kill you.

I really liked that from Amanda, not her best vocal...but there was something very commanding about that performance. Even with the imperfections, she looked like a star up there to me.

Amanda wasn't good. I think the 'we love you' stuff is going to her head.

Hat did good tonight. Reminded me of why I loved his original audition.

When the hell was Cassady a 'punk rocker'? Or did he say 'pop rocker'? She looks like a leftover Cheetah Girl. And sounds like two of them in a fight. :scream:

I need someone to push Christina Milan out of the Sprint Skybox. Maybe she can land on her tweet and break it.

Not looking good for Dez, Skunkhawk or Cody so far. I may be forced to sacrifice Skunkhawk for Cody. :D

Wow, skunkhawk was just HORRIBLE tonight. I wasn't that impressed with her last week and this was even worse. At least she had the sense to change the hair up. Dez, did ok- it was nothing I'd go online to watch a 2nd time. He's gotta stick around a little longer because, my god- that face, that body. :swoon: And his voice doesn't totally suck.

I agree, Allen. She doesn't have to move or prance to command the stage.

I'll be in Arkansas this week. Maybe I can stalk Cody if he goes home tomorrow.

OK, new rule: do not sing Kelly Clarkson. Kelly Clarkson has an unbelievable range and her notes are golden--she doesn't have to strain or go sharp or push. She might do dopey pop songs, but her voice is no joke. When you have to pull out the sad-parent card, your desperate.

Things that annoy me - guitars as props. Either play it the whole time or don't carry one. (I think I'm cranky tonight).

I'm not certain any 18 yo can understand the emotion of When a Man Loves a Woman. He'll sing the song well, but 18 yo's don't know how to love a woman. I take that back. I don't think he sang this well at all. If this was his first song, I wouldn't be impressed. Trevun is a better singer than this performance. He'll stay, but CeeLo needs to work with him for next week.

That SO wasn't deserved boys. He's done much better on other songs.

When A Man Screeches at a Woman...that was impressive vocal at parts, but it totally overshadowed the lyrics and the power of that song. It's the type of performance where you get excited because high notes were hit, and you scream and yell and do the Canadian standing thing, but ten minutes later you've completely forgotten it.

She just needs a big chair

She reminds me of Chuckie. I can see her doing a guest appearance on American Horror Story and smiling while she cuts your legs off.

That's the first time I've really liked Melanie and consisdered voting for her. Great song, great rendition. I'm throwing up a little bit in my mouth as I type this, but I did really "feel" that.

Nick, I'm just jumping in here because, why?

Huh, but also why is this clock off by about 5 minutes, it's saying 9:43 and it is only about 9:38?
