I've been listening to Willie's version of The Scientist on Sirius. I love it, and that commercial almost made me cry.

Thank God they gave Riana and Coldplay like 10 minutes.
What have they awarded, 2 Grammys so far?

Best Rock Performance to the Foo Fighters!

Mumford and Sons was eligible? Love The Cave too, just surprised.

I was hoping for The Decemberists. Another good category for me though.

eta- My daughter wants to know what was on the Foo Fighter guy's t-shirt. Did anyone notice?

What is it with flat tops and pompadours tonight?

What a horrible song for Adam Levine to sing - not a good fit for his voice at all. :scream:

Wow - this 'tribute' sucks. Foster the People look like someone's gonna shoot their puppy if they smile!

ETA - I saw the Beach 'Boys' on one of their 'oldies' tours. Aren't most of them gone though?

Don't worry, I was watching! I am still getting over the fact that they didn't win for Country Duo but oh well, can't win them all! I liked the performance but Kelly sounded very raspy. I know her voice very very well and she was struggling tonight. The high notes were not effortless. This was probably the worst performance of this song, bad timing, haha. It was also odd because Kelly's mic was off at the very beginning where she comes in and then Jason's mic got turned off at the end. Oops. She looked great though, but her hair was a little...not so great. hehe

Love the Foo Fighters! Glad they got something tonight!

    Coldplay and Rihanna were horrible.

Still can't believe Kanye wasn't nominated for best album.

    Great harmony for the BBoys.

Pet Sounds is one of the most important records in rock history.

From the looks of this set, most of them. :shuffle: I'm going to hell.

But didn't Dennis Wilson die many many years ago?

ETA - Dennis Wilson in 1983 and Carl Wilson in 1998 :(

Yes, I can't find Good Vibrations boring, it was just so ground breaking. I would think guys like Adam Levine and the Foster the People band would love performing with them.

Why can't Stevie sing? Always loved him.

    Macca's going Big Band now?

Was that Diana Krall on the piano?
