    International pride parades:

PHOTOS: Pride in Madrid Is the Hottest So Far
Spain is one of the most LGBT accepting countries in the world, which accounts for the relaxed, sexy attitude of the celebrants.

    PHOTOS: Canada's Largest Pride
Hundreds of thousands filled the streets of Toronto to take part in Canada's largest Pride parade.
BY DANIEL REYNOLDS JULY 08 2013 1:00 PM ET

Toronto's 33rd Pride parade drew hundreds of thousands to the heart of the city in June to wave rainbows flags alongside Canada’s red maple leaf. Marchers walked down the street on stilts, in drag, on Rollerblades, or alongside children, friends, and family members who had come out to support the LGBT community.

A diverse range of groups were represented in the procession down Yonge Street, from red-plumed Trojan men to garlanded firefighters to members of the city’s police force. A large contingent of men, bearing the banner “Foreskin Is Fabulous,” even marched nude down the street, following on the heels of a leather-masked man wielding a whip, a bare-chested woman leading a man on a leash, cast members of MTV Canada’s 1 Girl 5 Gays, and a giant Pfizer balloon advertising Viagra.

Politics also played its part in the proceedings. Ontario’s first openly gay premier, Kathleen Wynne, became the first premier to march in the parade, eliciting cheers and applause from the crowd as she passed. Other political figures were the target of sartorial satire. One marcher wore a pink undergarment printed with the words “Rob Ford’s Pink Slip,” a tongue-in-cheek critique of Toronto’s mayor.

The tone was jubilant, however, as Canada also commemorated the 10th anniversary of its first same-sex marriage and celebrated the historic rulings of the U.S. Supreme Court, which had dominated the front pages of its newspapers only days earlier.

I can see how not everyone would like Big Eden. The reason it's my favorite gay-themed film is because, unlike almost every gay film out there, it's about a love triangle between three aging, ordinary looking guys approaching 40; it's not about sex (I don't think the word "sex" is even mentioned), it's about relationships. Normal relationships. Nothing takes place in a disco or a gym. Bigotry is absent from the film, so there are no verbal slurs of any kind. It's a happy, uplifiting ending: there's no disillusionment or failed relationship and no one dies of AIDS or some other disease. (Plus, I find Eric Schweig unbelievably hot!) And the townspeople are hilarious! Yes, it's a fantasy but, as the director noted, we're much closer to it than we've ever been before.

I must make sure that the next time I am in Canada/Toronto, it is for Pride. I bet it's a hoot.

I hope y'all had a good time if you went to your Pride event :D

I just tried to find a copy to buy, but it seems to be discontinued. :( There are used copies, but they are kind of pricey.

Yeah, he's been on Ed, Days of Our Lives, The Office and Scrubs; starred on Broadway as Sir Robin in SPAMALOT; recently played The Man in the North Carolina Theater production of The Drowsy Chaperone, and will star in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat later this month in the Ogunquit Playhouse production (Maine).

Kingston, Ont., lesbian couple threatened, told to move out of town

    How the letter opens:

The article mentions that BB guns have been give the younger members of the group "so that they can hunt you down."

Gee, way to show that Christian love. . . Creepy, too: "we have been following you for the past several weeks"?? What kind of person does this?

    Dear Mean People:

We feel that unless you actually, REALLY convert to the way of Christ, who just *happened* to say that loving your neighbor was the second-most-important command, we'll just continue to be frustrated by people like you who continue to make Christianity look bad. Life on this planet with people like you is sometimes unbearable, but we'll do our best to love you anyway.

    Sincerely,

Christians who don't take a few Bible verses wildly out of context and possibly mistranslated as well to shape the entirety of their lives and as justification for bigotry

IMO there's too much fascination with the gay culture for him to be 100% straight :saint: and that fascination must come from within him.

I don't know why or how, but something [clearly] arouses his curiosity.

I was at a (gay) wedding yesterday, and it was an absolutely perfect, sunny & cloudless evening. I said to my friend sitting next to me "If god really did hate gays, we'd have thunder, rain, and tornados right now. Take that, homophobes!" :D

Except he has apparently gotten a very young new boytoy, has moved to West Hollywood and his new tattoos look like he had them done by a prison inmate and that handlebar mustache leaves a little to be desired... Mid-Life Crisis maybe? I was in WeHo a couple weeks ago, it's not very big in terms of area and didn't see him out and about (I probably would have had a fanboy moment if I had), but either way I hope he is happy whichever way.

I swear I saw him walking on Sunset Blvd. right by Freestyle Photo, but I was like nahhh.

So he's in Cali now? Could it be that I saw him walking on Sunset blvd.? He was carrying a plastic bag from Home Depot.

Y'all have seemed to take some wild leaps with the gossip! I know the mustache is for a movie role, maybe the tattoos aren't real and are for the same role.

As far as having a new boyfriend...maybe...and if so, sex...probably.

    But to imply drugs?!?
