I like to think I'd be really cool and calm in the helicopter escape thingy, but I'd probably freak out. :shuffle:

 but feeling bad for Mark aka Pukey. I wonder how far ahead the dating couple was ahead of Jersey boys. I think there was some tricky editing there. I was impressed with how quickly the boys found the apples.

The :drama: next week should be :watch:

African zebras, and Vanessa & BB Rachel going at it at the airport, with Rachel snarkily asking Vannesa, "how old are you, 38?" and Vanessa snapping back, "38, and I still look better than you." And then Vanessa telling her to do everybody some favors by fixing her nose before perking up her boobs. :watch:

    Ok a few thoughts:

-The roadblock: looked like fun to me. Then again I love being under water.
-The oil challenge: Gross!!! Forgive me, I'm immature.
-Will the LadyGents just say they're federal agents already?? Seriously this whole "they think we're teachers and all nice" was cute like 4 weeks ago but come on.
-What's happening next Sunday? I know it's April Fools day but why wait two weeks for next TAR :wuzrobbed:
-I did NOT need to see Mark puking into a bag in the back seat of the taxi.
-Tools: "got beaten by a damn girl" or something like that. Really?? HA, then I'm glad you lost.

-Next week: Vanessa is 38?? Wow, she doesn't look it. But she sure acts like she's 12. Come on woman, grow up and don't tell people to get nose jobs:rolleyes: Even if brenchel Rachel drives me nuts.

Where is everybody? :( The last few weeks the TAR thread has been pretty bare. Are people tuning out because they are dead in the suicide game? :yikes:

That oil challenge was yucko, but I would have easily done that over a needle in the haystack challenge. Imagine if they accidentally bypassed the apple they needed and had to sort through them again.

I'm not real sad to see the tool boys go, however they were growing on me. I think they probably should have kept an eye on how Rachel & Dave were doing. They could have realized that they were behind and weren't going to catch up and bailed before the task was over to minimize their time differential with the rest of the teams.

ETA: Also, :cheer2: multiple Fast Forwards in a season! I had thought the FF was a thing of the past after 2 or 3 seasons without them. I was pleasantly surprised to see there not only be one a few weeks ago, but a second one this week.

I thought the water challege was way too easy, and too quick. And the oil challenge was too easy. I mean, there was no failing the challege, you just kept scraping and you'd get done. But I'm glad they went to Azerbaijan. I love the prominade there in Baku.

Goodbye Fitness & Danny. Seemed like sweet guys, but they goofed on dual levels with that FF. 1. They underestimated Rachel's prowess, and assumed that they could overcome a ~15 bale headstart that Army had amassed. 2. They were terribly inefficient in their stacking. Joey was retrieving the bales, then walking AROUND his stack -- wasting much precious time. Take it from this hay baling veteran (thousands of bales harvested, wagoned, stacked) -- Joey should've been stacking building the stack from far-end to near-end ... building up mini 5high-5deep stacks, then moving closer, etc.

Even despite the above miscalculation, the boys would've had a decent change to catch up on a normal leg. However, this one was to simple to enable such a comeback ... the challenges were pretty easy, and there didn't seem to be much of a challenge distance/directions wise either.

No, immature or completely grown-up, that was gross. I think that everyone but a very small fetishist population would agree with you. Icky, completely not homoerotic challenge and gross "clients". :yikes:
Eh, the grossness each instance Mark is shown being pukey, is mostly mitigated by the  of Bopper losing it with guffaws next to him.
Angel is probably about 25, and I think was being sarcastic, "yeh, I'm 38..." ... but, yeh, she's mightly immature. I still find her lots of fun, though; always good for at least one  moment. Anyone catch this gem from her?: "Hopefully, that this is the last time I'll be found in a [car] trunk" but :cold:
I know. What the heck? My excuse is I'm on the west coast, so I cannot participate unless I want to be spoiled. Let's get buzzing again!

Yes, this has been a welcome reintegration. Keep it, TAR PTB, and please keep two other wrinkles Intersection :blah: and Double U-Turn :blah: where they belong -- permanently in the archives.

I was at an event last night so I missed the ep. Plus I'm dead in the suicide game. But I like it better when the thread isn't eleventy billion pages long by the time TAR comes on in pST anyway (especially because at least 2 pages are posts of "is TAR on time for anyone?" "darn, it's not on" "hopefully it will be on by 8:17") :saint:

Heh, I loved that comment. Although I could have done without the constant "Cheese and Crackers!!" Every time I hear that expression, I'm reminded of my third grade teacher in Catholic school telling us that it was actually just as bad to say "Cheese and Crackers!" or any other swear euphamism as it was to say the actual swear because the intent and thought behind the words is the same. Although I think it had the opposite effect on me than she intended...if it's just as bad to say the euphemism, I might as well use the real swear word, so I used that lesson as an excuse to swear for years.

Noooo! Tooooools!! I was going to pick you for my top three! Foiled again in the Suicide game. Add their elimination to that of the twins, and the pretty has decreased significantly in this season.

Yeah, oil task was GROSS! I hate needle-in-the-haystacks, but I would've considered it over this disgusting task.

I would've been freaking at that road block for the same reasons as Angel. I prefer my water frozen, thank you.

Yeah, I knew they were going down as soon as I saw the way they were stacking those bales.

*Midwestern farm kid bonding moment with Beefy*

ArmyRachel was totally :kickass: on that challenge. I would have been shoving bales off the truck and letting my husband do the stacking, although there at the end, he was practially throwing them into place.

She's 31. And while she is immature, she isn't whiny and she's funny.

BrenchelRachel, OTOH..........although she was remarkably quiet this week. They must have been saving her for next week. :watch:

    Don't you know it!

Forgot to mention.... WTF up with that sparkly shoe string around Rachel's head? Hello, Brenchel.... Mike Reno called. He wants his headband back.

Maybe she's friends w/Erin the airhead twit on The Voice? Trying to bring the headband back could help me in a way, since I make circlets and tiaras and am in the beginning of setting up something for E Bay, so all the "headband" exposure is a good thing.

In a really weird way though. :D

While that oil challenge was really gross, I was literally laughing so hard at the Border Guards during their scraping and if I could have hugged them for that, I would have. Why?

A cousin of mine I was really close to and a WWII Vet passed away earlier this week and the funeral was Saturday. Combine that w/over at the LOTR MB I used to belong to being fired as a Mod and then, I'm guessing because when I realized this witch is more than likely reading my PM's to "ensure" my silence, more than likely banned because...Ready for this one? The brother of the owner broke the posting rules by hijacking our March Madness thread w/nothing more than babbling posts, which he does once or twice, but then moves on as a form of joking, but he took it too far and the majority of the posts over there are by him and his "jokes".

Okay then...This witch on a power trip and who has had a problem w/me since Day One for some odd reason and thinks she's the one actually in charge when no, she's really not, decided that since I had the nerve to suggest the Mod for that portion of our board please tell this guy to cool it a bit because of his post slutting over there, my "hissy fit" that actually was a calmly worded request, about the Brother of the Owner was the last straw to Her Majesty and she fired me.

When I tried to get answers to why this happened? Not only did she not give me anything even close to that, I was told it was my trying to "get rid of the Brother of the Owner of the site" booted off a thread, even though he clearly crossed the line this time. Oh and how dare I try this stunt in public. Yeah...Never brought it up on the board proper, never fired off a nasty PM to this guy, all I did was bring up in the proper thread in our area for Moderators and none of that was nasty. I did vent about the one post he put out there concerning how I'd ignored him and etc, but considering he never said anything about March Madness, of course I ignored him. Who wouldn't be ticked off about something like that, as he was clearly trying to get a reaction from me. But that was part of the reason of my firing, that I did all that in public.

When the others are starting postings w/"Trying to get back on topic now...", I mean...This guy obviously had taken things too far over there. Family Members though are obviously above the rules over there though. I even went and found the actual Rule he broke, put that in my last reply to this witch over there and asked her to tell me how doing this to me and letting this guy get away w/it when anyone else would have been modded served the good of the board?

Her answer to that and all of my questions yesterday was that the discussion was over, one sided as it was since she was telling me how things stood instead of actually answering my questions, and that if I continued to talk about it w/anyone there, I'd be banned. Now, how could that happen if none of this came up outside the realm of Private Messages? It also explains something else I've wondered about. Over the years I've sent three PM's to the Owner about things that have happened and I never got a reply back. I also sent him one on Saturday in an attempt to tell my side of the story and also ask if Family Members truly were above the rules and never heard from him about those either. Which has me thinking after reading that last "Decree" yesterday he never did get them. I also sent PM's to three really good friends of mine who were fellow Mods over mine about what had happened. Never got replies from them either.

I ended up sending a PM to a mutual friend of ours to have him tell that witch she doesn't have to ban me. She wins and I quit being a member of that place. I can only hope he was able to get the message because there are good friends of mine over there I don't want to lose contact w/, so hopefully that one went through. I hope that is.

So...Combine that w/the Funeral, something else that happened on Saturday on our way to the Funeral and my Health issues getting worse again, I had a pretty *stressful* weekend. What's that got to do w/last night's TAR?

I was laughing so hard at the Border Agents scraping that guy down I nearly fell out off the couch. If someone had popped into the house at that particular moment w/out knowing what we were watching, they would have been seriously wondering why on earth we were watching porn as we just didn't seem to be that kind of people. :D

It gave me a badly needed reason to laugh and goodness knows I needed that. I'm now more sad than angry over how close to ten years of being a member and eight years of being a Moderator ended over there. And all thanks to a lady who is drunk on a very little bit of power. :(

I never would have gone to the Apples, as it was a needle in a haystack challenge. Actually was surprised more than one team did it. The "I hope this is the last time I'm ever in a trunk" quote though was pretty good too.

Those carpets at the carpet stall and the old town portion of Baku...*drools* Another "Would love to go there for a visit someday" place to put up on the list.

I don't know if I could have done that survival training thing or not. I'd like to think I could, but you just don't know until it's time for you to do it. I was thinking of a good friend of ours at that point. Retired now, but he was the Commanding Officer of the Water Bomber base in our area for years. He and his fellow pilots all had to go through this on a yearly basis to keep their pilot's licences. In fact, the year before his retirement a situation just like what we saw last night happened to one of "his guys" a week after that year's training for this. They were skimming the lake to take on another load to dump on the forest fire when something snagged one of the chute doors and flipped the plane. Neil told us his buddy told him the only reason he and the other three members of the crew are alive today is because of that training every year.

BTW...Did anyone keep track of how many times that one guy kept screwing up how to say the name of the Country? I lost count at five as I got distracted by something. :D

Sorry for the long post, but I'm so glad being a fan of this show gave me the laughs I needed so very badly and didn't think just why I felt it was *so* funny w/out the entire story behind that. I just wish I'd been able to DVR it, but missed the 11pm here/8pm West Coast showing for the West darn it!!

    Good episode, love this show....
Bopper & Mark thinking they were going to Africa - too funny. After such a wrong 1st impression, they are so entertaining, and just enjoying themselves. Probably won't win, but will probablly be invited back.
Jersey/Long Is - sad to see them go, but they got beat by a girl. Hopefully army husband is more appreciative of her, he seems rigid.
BB Rachel, yes - what is with the green and the hairband. She was not monotoned in BB. Next week looks promising.
Angel & Ralph - don't want them to win, but they are fun for tv.
Female agents - yes, I agree with previous post - tired of them talking about their lie. I wanted to like them more, but they seem so generic and unmemorable.
I did like when either Mark or Bopper was tellling the one agent that the other liked her partner. So cute.
Love they went to Azer. As much as this show is entertaining, nice to educate too.
Oil task - uggghhh. loved that Rachel got stuck doing it though.

I don't think anyone cares what the female agents profession is at this point, if they ever cared at all.

And I forgot to mention how I  at Vanessa/Ralph hard searching through the carpets when all they had to do was look up and around to spot it out in the open. Loved how they referred to themselves as buffoons.

I probably would made the same mistake. :shuffle:

Me, too! I was thinking that if I was on the show, I'd be so wildly excited when I read that I was going to AZE, but only very few would truly understand my excitement. Heck, I was wildly excited just seeing that they were going there. Doesn't take much for me!
