I had a lot of fun following this last year. This year looks to be just as promising. :)

yeah me too.. for some reason I always find the British more talented in this show than America's got talent which usually seems really cheezy.. but will have to see this years..

Wow. Just wow. Loved Simon's open-mouthed expression!

Nan, I actually prefer Olivia's voice to young Chloe's. :)

I did, too. Chloe's voice was very good, but Olivia was :respec:

So far, Olivia, Spellbound and Christopher Stone have been my favorites. I can't figure out just what Simon's problem is with Christopher. Yes, he was nervous, but you couldn't hear it in his voice.

Now, everyone has to watch this video of "flute magic" which features one of the most talented flutists I have ever heard. I wonder why she doesn't play with one of the bg pro orchestras yet

I watched it, but she is no Chris Wood or Jethro Tull.

I was being sarcastic lol. I am a professional flutist so I definitely know flute talent when I hear it and she is definitely NOT good at flute in any way, shape or form

Me too. I didn't really like Chloe's voice at all. I found her pacing boring & I thought her voice isn't really mature enough yet. I do think she has a future but Olivia is ready now. Her voice is beautiful.

Ive watched the last 3 nights, I hadnt really seen any of the audition shows. It's mainly so crap.

Chloe didnt make it to the finals and cried.

There's a singer called Emile who was on last night and was so out of tune it was

But he's 18 and is a father .. ugh so he has *responsibilities*... Er, try and be a bit more responsible and use contraception next time!

81 year old Janey won last night, now Im respectful of old people and went a bit 'aww' but then again, she isnt very good.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0GauZwHwBKQ

These were my favourites last night and they went through to the final in second place ..

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1RDiBxbT_CA

Other acts, I thought these were a little wuzrobbed and should have gone through as well (No Janey)

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UI0wKWfehNA

And lol at the slating this lot got...

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hJ6nLkHFP8w

How the hell is this on primetime TV??!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxUllFjcGaU&playnext_from=SL

Oh and the winner from the other night, gotta love the :dog: acts! Wheee!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZNtiqK2wPM

Overall, it's a pretty crap year though, it's all very well being 'wowed' by the auditions but get most of these acts on a proper stage and it all goes a bit pear shaped non?

I dont watch the auditions nor X Factor anymore, Im tired of Simon Cowell treating the audience like idiots.

I think Spellbound and Tina and Chandi are the only acts worth watching. Although watching Spellbound makes me feel like a dirty old man. :shuffle:

Yeah, there's no way they are going to be able to top the look on Simon's face when Susan Boyle lost last year. :D

There are too many dance groups this year, none of them really stand out to me except the duo, Twist and Shout. Spellbound is amazing and the dancing dog is just plain fun to watch.

Spellbound rightly won. They were amazing.

The blonde boy on the left of the screen, when the coach is being interviewed, is the world champion of acrobatic gymnastics in 2006 in the age group 12-19, mixed pair category, now he competes in men's pairs with another boy from that group, they'll compete in the world championships next month. The redhead is also familiar to me, got search my pics.

Then never ever go to an acrogym competition, you'll lose your mind.

The tricks they are doing there is what I'm used to see in competitions so I'm not as amazed by them, though the group choreo worked quite well. I'm glad they won.

Thanks for this thread. Didn't realise it was on again and now I have something else to do while not studying. Wheeeee!

Just started to watch the auditions, so happy it's all on YouTube.

Tobias Mead is just so cute and adorable! :swoon:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GE2V1qyYFE

I wish I could dance like him. Definitely my cup of tea.

I can't believe they have cut Michael Lavender short... Such a brilliant act. The expression of the judges' faces is just priceless. Amanda especially was . Awesomness.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wusdUgpiNTg

Tina and Chandi were lovely. You could see the bond she had with her dog, it was super cute and even a person as cynical as me totally bought it. ;)
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SGq1641reC8

Christopher Stone is very cute in a really nerdy way. And quite camp. ;)
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BtTWVLOl7iY

Chloe Hickinbottom had a very surprisingly mature voice but her performance was quite wooden. I guess she's a child still. Technically it was very good.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P--9bwGan_U

Olivia Archbold's audition was incredible. The maturity of that performance, and by that I don't just mean how it was sung technically but the way she really felt the song, the mood she created, wow.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hWBoyoaIuAE

Myztikal was extremely sharp and the first girl's singing was great. But then the Oasis song came on and the girl who sang lead vocals could not sing whatsoever. They should clearly stick to dancing and not let anyone other than that first singer near a microphone. :p
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TOrkv_dsTv0

Janey Cutler was so annoying and pretentious and had such a wailing banshee voice. It's great to see an older person who is positive, active and going for it and she can certainly be a role model in this regard but she doesn't have talent.

More ramblings to come later. :shuffle:

Ita. My favorite voice this year, so beautiful and mature. Really like her.
