No thread yet? Isn't it starting on the East Coast in 10 minutes?!?

Can't wait for all the reminders about NATIONAL DANCE DAY. Has anyone even looked at the routines?

Someone on my facebook posted a video of some 10 year olds practicing the harder routine.

Interesting that GaGa is sitting on the end beside Nigel and not in the usual spot for guests.

Cat looks fabulous (although a bit orange). Rob Marshall should be interesting. Gaga!

My husband has done nothing but bitch about me watching this show for the last 5 min. I'm pushing my mental mute button.

Love the choreography. I love love love the Quickstep. Sasha and Pasha-Puttin' On the Ritz. Her facial expression was really weird in this. Except for that she looked gorgeous.

I love that GaGa looks totally insane, but she mustered a very coherent analysis of the dance.

That's one of the few quicksteps I've ever liked on SYTYCD. They should let Jonathan Roberts choreograph more.

I am surprised she can see the dancing thru the hair and glasses.

Yeah, I don't enjoy Ivan as a dancer any more now than I did before.

Caitlyn and Ivan- hip hop (lyrical)
Let me Love You - Mario

This was smooth and nice. I liked the way the choreo flowed back and forth between them and then became unison. They were a nice physical match too.

    Um. Nice.

Yeah, Nigel, I'm sure you would like for Caitlynn to open her legs a little more!

I think the permanent judging panel should be GaGa, NPH, and Chenoweth.

Um no, Robb Marshall, Tyce is not an amazing dancer, I've seen Showgirls :shuffle:

Nigel needs to get some so he'll stop being so gross.

I didn't think there was anything special about Jordan at all...

    Tyce + Ade and Jordan.

    Nutbush City Limits- Tina Turner

    Ade looks a lot heavier?

This was nice and gritty. I kept picturing a boxer and a stripper. I always enjoy Tyce's Jazz pieces. This one felt like I was watching a movie scene, but it was not like it was telling a story, like so many of them try in this show. (This comment makes complete sense to me)

Why could Sonya not have been here to do Jazz and Contemporary instead of Mandy and Tyce?

Nice lifting job by Ade. He can come by and move some furniture so we can install Pergo in the TV room. Was Jordan in that?

Just got in so I just caught Ivan/Caitlyn. I was looking forward to this because watching videos on Youtube, Ivan's dancing has gotten so much better but you couldn't tell by looking at this routine. I felt he was wasted. Caitlyn was Caitlyn. She danced it as well as she could have but she's a nonentity at this point.

    Rewinding to watch Sasha.

Other than the part where the camera completely panned to Neil, he was pretty invisible in that routine.

    Melanie, however, :cheer: :cheer2: :cheer:

GaGa looks like she's 6'8" in those platforms. Wheee! GaGa says she would hire Melanie!

    Neil and Melanie- Mandy Moore
She continues her sucky choice of music. Bonnie Tyler's Total Ecclipse of the Heart was a great song, but I've heard it a few thousand times too many.

Some horrid work by the lighting crew to totally white out the dancers.

I'm supposed to love this. Moving choreo, beautifully danced. Pretty white dress, shirtless strong guy. Deja Vu.

I'm starting to think that Melanie has a pretty big brain to go along with the dancer's body. She seems to really get it, both the choreo AND how to sell it.

    ok, something for the commercial.

Interesting Tyce portrayal in a movie called "Every Little Step".
    It's on Netflix.

Interesting isn't the word I would use for Tyce in "Every Little Step."

I haven't liked a single music choice tonight.

Jason Gilkison- Ricky and Anya- Jive

    Someone fire the lighting director.

I love Ricky and the non-jive dancing was great. His flicks were limp though.

Easily the worst of the night so far.
