I am still hoping to see something amazing. This season has not lived up to standard. Right now, for me, the best performances were the introduction of the top 20 four weeks ago.

Okay, I love Melanie and Marco, but they need to have to dance ballroom.

Justin Gyles? new choreographer. Seven stages of grief. Damien Rice. Prague.

    and...my daughter calls.

Wonderful piece. Some of the guys really shone. I wish I could have attended more closely.

    Agreed.

So should Ryan and Ricky as well as Alex and Sasha.

Unlikely that there are three ballroom pieces this week, though. :(

I think that group piece is the best piece of work danced this season so far. I hope we see other dances of that caliber tonight.

I'd love to see something on par with Wade's Hummingbird piece or Sonya's Hallelujah piece tonight. I'd wish for a great ballroom piece, but I don't think there anyone left to dance one like Heidi, Pasha, Anya, Benji, or Lacey, etc.

    Marco and Melanie- Ray Leeper-Jazz
    Wants it to be picturesque.

    Americano-Lady Gaga

Um. Not what I was expecting. Horrid costuming. 2nd half really picked up for me. I liked him better than her. It almost felt like she was giggling during the number for the first part.

They danced that really well, but it felt somewhat like a rip off of Sonya's "Tore My Heart" number for Ellenore and Jacob.

No one thought to tell me that TRAVIS is on the panel? Happy happy joy.

And Cat is dressed like a mother-of-the-bride again. :(

I couldn't put my finger on what bothered me about that routine and that's it. Similar style, coloring in the costumes, etc. None of which was there fault. Now I've got to YouTube Ellenore and Jacob--they were fab!

And how are Sasha and Alexander doing hip hop again? Really?

I also really enjoyed the men's piece. Wish that there would have been more.

Are all of the choreographers new tonight? That could be really interesting.

Sasha and Alexander - Hip-hop- missed the choreographer.
    To the Moon- Miguel

That was either very easy choreography or they made it look really easy. It seemed like something beginner dancers could do.

Carmen was very noncommital. Mary disliked it.

That was a really flat performance by Sasha and Alex. I don't know who's respsonsible for that, but it wasn't good.

Maybe the draws really are random. That's Tadd and whasherfaces's second waltz, wasn't it? I bet Sasha and Alex could have rocked that one...

    Nocturne- Secret Garden

Not very waltzy, but a pretty seduction piece.

I thought it was pretty. I am having such a hard time reconciling Jordan the wannabe Pussycat Doll with the fringy boobs to the girl we are seeing in these intro/backgeound pieces. Talk about a 180-degree turn! She's actually likeable now.

Tadd is just too cute for words. He and Markko are just wonderful! I see them going to the end.

Agreed on both counts! Jordan has grown on me these past couple of weeks. Er, not that I can remember her name or anything. :shuffle:

    Clarisse and Jess - Justin...

Light Through the Branches- Celesta Lear

I wish my kids would stop distracting me. Dont' they know that watching television is important.

I loved this dance. It was a great piece. I don't like either of the dancers though. I wish Melanie had had this piece.

Justin Gyles- the STAR of the night. I hope they use him a lot.

I knew she was going to be. She's a little more coherent than when she judged Rupaul's Drag Race, but she basically just parrots something one of the other judges says.
