Still weird to see different numbers of girls and guys.
Bring on the details for those of us on the wrong coast. Thanks!
Robert and Anya could be very fun!
Glad to see bollywood is back again.
Cristina and Pasha doing a paso doble are up first.
Marina Anissina would be very jealous of France's hair color.
EEEe. Robert is doing the Argentine Tango with Anya
Jose is doing Bollywood with Kathryn
Cat is gorgeous in a white sheath trimmed with feathers and her hair straight.
Starting with Christina and Pasha's Paso Doble. Melanie has lost weight.
Ira Deorum Sanctus?
Stop with the too bright white lighting.
Christina might have slipped once? But I loved the quickness and passion of this.
Pasha is divine and this was wonderful.
eta-Melanie has lost weight because she is France.
Christina's "dress" was worthy of an ice dance costume.
Pasha hangs around for the critique. I don't mind.
I am very jealous of Cristina.
Adam Shankman will now try to speak Spanish. Christina gets great reviews from the judges.
I'm stuck at work and can't watch until later. Will someone paraphrase what the judges are saying?
Who wouldn't be? I think France is fabulous!
Christina getting very good reviews from the judges. I don't think I liked her as much as they did. To me she lacked a little emphasis when finishing moves, but if the 3 pros thought she got it right, I'm happy to go along with them. I like her, so I'm glad to see her do well. Nigel says he's glad she didn't go home so that we didn't miss that dance.
Pasha, not surprisingly, was fantastic.
I agree, I thought Cristina lacked a little tension. She did well, but wasn't blown away by her performance. I'd love to know what Mary would have said.
I think that routine would have been better had it been on a less done-up stage and with less bombastic music. The same routine, costume, and dancers would have had more impact had the extras been toned down. I think it would be better on mute--I don't know why they feel they have to do all this overwrought Carmina Burana type music for Paso Doble on SYTYCD.
Have we seen anyone skate to this?
I agree GardenKitty, Cristina was not bad but not as sharp as could be. Pasha, of course, was amazing, sexy, powerful, fabulous lines, I could go on...
Okay, I know this is a cover version of Listen to Your Heart, but does Mandy not realize that it isn't the 80s anymore?
it's such a gift to have Allison back
I'm generally no Mandy Moore fan, but that was lovely all around. Beautiful dance and great job by both AdeChike and Allison.
That was pretty from Adechike and Allison. I really enjoyed it but I'm not sure I'll remember it in an hour. I'm so glad to have Allison back. She was so robbed in season 2.
Yeah, she's brilliant and she's really grown since her initial appearance on the show.
this song is on my ipod, the 80s were nice
Adechike has beautiful eyes.
Dancing with Allison and Mandy Moore.
No storyline, just emotions- in love dance. Neat to see Mandy working with him.
Listen to Your Heart- acousticy remix
I adore Allison. She glowed out there, but she brought him in to it. He brought it up -way up. Great lines at times. This was joyful and pretty.
Nigel agrees with me. But they all want him to keep improving.
Someone is FINALLY using DHT's Listen To Your Heart?
Agreed, I think she is fabulous.
Allison I didn't notice Adechike at all.
Adechike & Allison - contemporary
Adechike moved very well, Nigel says lots of improvement, but still comments on Aechike's ability to show the emotion. Mia says he needs to tap into his joy more consistently and that his "small, internal movements are gorgeous". She reminds him dance isn't just an artform it's a "heart form" Adam also saying he's thinking through it too much and focusing on the steps.
Adam also says it was a tremendous routine and Adechike danced it beautifully.
For me, this dance had some odd moves (blame the choreographer), but I thought he did much better than last week.
