It's nice that now fans in Europe have a chance to enjoy Yags and other skaters. To many people in Europe seeing the American Stars on Ice was practically impossible, and now they have their own.

Just want to ask why you said that Yagudin is the one will make the show? It seems that it's gonna be a show featuring Alexei Yagudin but organized by an agency company.

Well, I think there is always some local agency involved. But it is called Alexei Yagudin - Stars Ice (literal translation). So it really looks as Alexei's show...

At the end of the link it says
Хотим отметить, что выступление будет не в рамках тура "Лед и Пламень", но поскольку многие номера были подготовлены во время проекта "Лед и Пламень", то и выступление поставлено в график тура проекта.

which means `we'd like to notice the show will not be part of the Ice and Fire tour, but since many programmes were created as part of the Ice and Fire project we put the show in the tour schedule'.

Some really interesting comments Alexei made in that interview...
Like how he doesn't want his daughter to take up skating as only a few make it to the top and he wants a different life for her.
He mentioned that Sochi is really gonna suck for russia but he does believe that Plushenko will be there.
Coaching would be the last thing he would do with his life. It's difficult.
He says the French only want to do things their way and are too stubborn. (referring to the time he helped coach Joubert, I think.)
    I thought that was funny.

they didn't mention Plushenko from the beginning

I wonder why Brezina disappeared in the final cast list……

Brezina is just about to finish his high school, he has probably the final exam next week.

Michal is surely planning on Bratislava, there must be a mistake on the site. Also Czech synchro team Olympia (13th on synchro Worlds) is going to Bratislava.

Thanks for the links SVFints. After checking out the related links for Yags, DomShabs, and Navka+, must say, Brezina certainly outshined the older stars on the tour. And the kind person who recorded Michal's performances got the treat of having him perform all his spins UP CLOSE and PERSONAL (practically on top of the camera). :D

Isn't Michal a little old to be finishing high school? He's like 21, that would be a VERY old high school senior indeed

I really enjoyed the show. This Russian shows are really special and I enjoy thzem every year. I came for Irina and she was so great. Met her before and after show off-ice and she´s sooooo nice! I´m still totally excited! Also always great to see are Drobiazko/Vanagas - I LOVE their skating, they always have great programs! Also loved the programs of Petrowa/Tikhonov - they´re so nice, too! I really had a great time in Bratislava, it was a perfect weekend with a great skating show! Thanks for posting it here on FSU, I would have missed it without this great fans here! Thank you so much!!!!!

I really like the Yagudin numbers, well who doesn't :p
But about the rest, I feel little bit disappointed...
Most of the show was commented only in Russian or Slovak only Yagudin spoke English, it didn't bother me a lot since I understood, but it wasn't very foreigners friendly.
Brezina was kind of cute, mainly because he got a new haircut and didn't highlight his hair (at least not so obviously).

About Brezina and high school - he doesn't seem to be into education :shuffle:
