I associate certain pieces of music with certain skaters. It means (to me) whenever I hear that music, I think of that skater and/or that particular performance, even though others have skated to that music.

    Here is my list:

Lady Caliph, Valse Sentimentale, Meditation from Thais- Berezhnaya & Sikharulidze
Moonlight Sonata, Reverie, The man I love - Gordeeva Grinkov
    Libestraum - Mishkutionok & Dmitriev
    Love Story- Sale & Pelletier

As time goes by - Kurt Browning
The Story of my life- Brian Orser
Rhapsody in Blue - Ilia Kulik
    Don Quixote- John Curry

    Bach's Air on a G string- Klimova & Ponomarenko
    Bolero - Torville & Dean
    Masquerade Waltz- Krylova & Ovssianikov
Four seasons - Usova & Zhulin

    Carmen - Katarina Witt
Salome, The Red Violin, Song of the black swan- Michelle Kwan
Swan Lake (Black swan)- Oksana Baiul
    Scheherzade - Midori Ito

The Polovtsian Dances: Bestemianova & Bukin in full dramatik flight-curious to see what Bazarova & Larionov will make of it.

    Swan Lake = :oksana1: without a doubt

Afternoon of a Faun: John Curry did a pro performance to this with Cathy Foulkes in 1980 with brilliant choreo -Adam Rippon should watch it!

Kwan- Rach 2. It was funny. I saw a clip of Karen Magnussen skating to it and thought to myself, "She's using Michelle's music."

How did I forget Winter by Yagudin and Sex Bomb by Plushenko? Same with Michelle's Lyra Angelica.

For Die Fledermaus I always think of G&G's 1989 worlds LP skate. It was perfect.

Not really a single piece of music, but every time a dance team skates to a tango, I immediately think of G&P's amazing "Libertango" program, especially the footwork sequence. :swoon:

Thanks, Vash01. That just reminded me that Michelle also performed to Winter. It was her Exhibition program during the 1997 Worlds Championships.

She choreographed that lovely program herself; in memory of Harris Collins, who died during that year's COI tour.

Michelle's Winter music was different from Yagudin's, but they were both great programs.
