It would be a good reminder to get our future kids vaccinated.
My honest first thought was 'Floozy of the US' instead of First Lady Guess I haven't seen that acronym much.
Actually I thought it meant First Lush.
Think of the State dinner tablescapes...
Those could case some serious damage to US foreign relations (as well as the guests).
Not only is Sandra back.....her magazine is back too. As a "lifestyle magazine".
Hurricane Sandy helps victims of Hurricane Sandy:
(Didn't those poor people suffer enough already?)
I was wondering where this thread got to. Has anyone seen Sandy's bar show? I've caught a couple of episodes, and I have to say, it's very entertaining
Bumping this for Sandra's Super Bowl hints. And this time it's extra hilarious.
at her recommendation to get ultra high-definition screens for the big day, and the footnote saying, er, um, these actually aren't available yet. Bet that's the last time LG Electronics will hire her to pimp their products.
Maybe if you're drunk a regular TV screen looks like ultra high-definition?
If any of you get a network called GAC, you can watch Semi-Homemade from the beginning! Relive the first pudding cup, the first seasoning packet, the first cultural insult, relive it all!
Hmm, Sandra doesn't want to be interviewed by the newspaper in the town where she went to college. What could she be hiding?
Bumping this for the latest news about Sandra. She has DCIS, an early form of breast cancer, and had a double mastectomy today.
She also just released her own line of booze, called, you guessed it, Cocktail Time.
And the thread sank like a stone.... Ok well I hope Sandra recovers and continues to give us plenty to post about in the future. I am not used to "Off the Beaten Path" without a Sandra thread.
I wish Sandra a complete recovery.
I detest her cooking, but I am glad she is recovering. All for early detection. Get well soon Sandy so I can snark on you some more. I need her like the axe needs the turkey.
@Rex I know you don't drink, but FYI http://us.thebar.com/brands/sandra-lee-cocktail-time-margaritas
Glad to know that the margaritas are gluten-free
Sorry to hear about her diagnosis. Is her show still running?
In reruns, but I think she's got another show in the pipeline. And if Andrew Cuomo decides to throw his hat in the presidential ring, she'll have to be very careful.
(((overedge))) Gluten-free...and industrial strength
Okay-- I hope she recovers and to say something nice: I'm all for trying some of the cocktails we've seen on her shows.
