There's been a heat wave in Southern California this week and a power outage that originated in Arizona has cascaded into all of San Diego County, parts of southern Orange County, and parts of Baja California and northern Mexico.

Doesn't look like it's spread as far north as any of the major Orange County rinks where skaters train (Aliso Viejo, Anaheim).

The outage struck during the evening rush hour, rendering traffic lights inoperable and causing gridlock.

Stay cool and safe, FSUers out there (if you can read this :shuffle: )

My bf's mother texted him about this while he was at work. They actually live under the same roof in the Bay Area, but he's coming to visit me this weekend. She's obviously (though unnecessarily) concerned that we won't have power, but I live in LA County so it isn't a problem.
