I'm sitting here trying not to cry... I know he's a celebrity, but damn... this one is hard... RIP Cory, you are gone WAY WAY too soon.
What?!?! I don't know what to say.
Per Vancouver PD: Cause not immediately apparent; foul play not suspected. Checked into hotel July 6th. Is originally from BC. Will gather evidence, speak to family, friends, associates as part of investigation.
Live feed concluded; no updates until tomorrow...more likely Monday per Vancouver PD.
EDIT: VPD Statement...(click link for full statement)...
Wow, that's tragic. I knew he had addiction problems.
(((his family)))) . ((( Lea Michele)))
I..wow...I don't even know what to say to this. He went to rehab earlier this year, I know no official cause has come out yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was an overdose. Such a tragedy.
Also drugs damage one's body, so it could have been a heart attack, stroke or a seizure. Probably won't hear much more before Monday (if then).
Wow! So sad and shocking!
I don't watch Glee, but he was too young. I wish we could somehow teach our young people how to handle their demons without resorting to drugs.
You have to be kidding me. I feel almost how I felt when Heath Ledger died. He was way too young and this is completely shocking and I feel like I'm going to start crying any second. Is this real?
Yes, sadly it is real. I watched the live feed of the VPD press conference and posted their press release (see above).
But it doesn't feel real
I know...it's so sudden, so unexpected, so tragic. (((HUGS)))
A classic, beautiful moment from GLEE:

Aww, what a shame.
What a shame. So much talent and gone far too soon. I also think Anita summed it up perfectly about our kids today and the use of substances to deal w/their demons.
(Has a little background on his drug problem.)
Mark Salling just tweeted the word 'no'. That's it. Just 'no'.
"Shower the people you love with love, show them the way that you feel..." - you never know how long they will be in your life.
wow, I just saw this. how shocking!
Such sad news.
Such sad news. Thoughts to his family, friends and girlfriend.
Very sad, shocking news. Gone too soon.
So very sad for his family and friends.
To young to die. R.I.P.
That is so sad. Is it true he was to be married in a few weeks?
This is just so tragic.
Bleesings to Lea Michelle and his family & friends at this difficult time.
Oh my, this is terribly sad news. My condolences to his family and friends.
Too young. I hate to hear these kind of news. RIP
Condolences to his family, friends and co-workers.
Wow. So very, very sad.
This is so very sad.
Condolences to his family, friends, co-workers; and all who admired him,
So sad . We have lost so many young celebrities to drugs. And we have lost so many more young people who are not celebrities. It seems that this is becoming more frequent. We need better information, intervention, and treatment for addiction. Whether the person is famous or not, a lost life is tragic.
Very much so...but as long as there continues to be a stigma against mental illness, people will continue to "medicate" themselves, and lives will continue to be lost.
I totally agree. We have come a long way from the "snake pits", but we still have so, so far to go.
Having never seen Glee I have no idea who he is but to die so young is tragic. Good thoughts for his family, fiancee and friends.
This actually made me cry. About ten years ago we worked at the same restaurant in Victoria. He was a bus boy/dishwasher and I was a hostess. I didn't know him well, nor kept in contact with him at all, but he seemed like a really great person and this just breaks my heart. Drugs and addiction are such a horrible thing
