When Averbukh wants to make something serious... his show is gorgeous. His "Carmen" is nearly ballet: much more serious than anything we've ever seen on ice: music, light, choreography - everything. (I don't compare with sport, of course) And Averbukh's "Carmen" is full of kindness. (though Carmen dies...)

Yes, Averbukh is in Sochi. Sea and sun - a nice place for "Carmen". Averbukh doesn't come to Sochi with New Year shows for children. What could Evgeny perform in Sochi?.. "The Snow King"?..
Even in Moscow it is summer now...

Evgeny and Alexei both are not too young and not too healthy. Soon they both won't be able to skate even in shows. Yes, I know Zhenya didn't win on Rus Nat. He skated in a closed test skating, but he didn't send himself to Sochi. I rushed out of the room, run along the corridor and cried. There was pain. I cried not out of pain, but out of insult, that someone could do such a thing and the others did not even defend me.
