    If you can still see it in the theatres, try to do that because it's such a visually stunning movie. And it still manages to seem intimate when necessary.

    It's really beautiful, especially in 3D, though good luck finding any place still showing it in that version anymore.

    Note to self: Yellow, especially shrieking yellow, is a horrible color on most skin tones, oh, and just in case, it looks horrid on tv.

    Life of Pi really is just stunning - and that material so easily could have made a terrible movie, so if Affleck and Bigelow can't win I'm glad he did.
