Celine did a lovely job. Still can't believe they snubbed Farrah last year.

I'm not really a Celine fan, but she did a good job with Smile (even if lip synced) - nicely understated.

Lovely tribute of Lena Horne by Halle Berry, who looks gorgeous as usual, beautiful and just the right dress.

I wish they had shown more clips of Lena, but the tribute was a great gesture.

Well my grandfather told me during WWII, Betty Grable and Rita Hayworth were the pinups for the white soldiers but Lena Horne was the pinup for the Black soldiers.

Lena played a huge role in progressing African Americans in hollywood and pop culture.

Don't they only list members of the Academy? She may not have been a member of the film academy.

There's a Lena auction coming up in the next few weeks. Lots of clothing, but some important African American pieces in the collection too.

Add me to the shocked list that Celine was able to not trill and screech. :p

I think I preferred Letterman. His bombing was more entertaining.

What's with all the fluffy skirts on the bodices this year? Most of the women look like big birds with big butts.

Unless Franco saves a baby from drowning tonight, he's not going to be remembered fondly for this evening.

Kathryn Bigelow what the hell were you thinking when you put on that dress? :yikes: However, you did give us "Point Break", so I'll forgive you. :p
