I just saw on Good Morning America that Melissa was injured in a fall during rehearsal. Nothing else was said.:(

I am so happy for Tony this season......he seems happier than I have ever seen him. He has a partner that can truly dance and I do hope she is just fine.

I also hope that Melissa's injury isn't serious.
Head injuries are nothing to fool with,

Oh dear. Head injuries are not good. I hope it's nothing serious. (Hey, DWTS, maybe it's time to dial way down on the stupid tricks and lifts that aren't legal in real ballroom anyway? Even with practiced people who aren't in a rush you can get hurt--I once bounced on my tailbone out of an ice dance lift with a very experienced coach doing something we'd done a hundred times, I just bobbled the entry a bit and it was over. Rushing through a routine in a week?)

It's an hour tonight and an hour tomorrow night. No results show or elimination this week.

Derek was on Twitter earlier and he said that him and Shawn are only dancing once; in the team dance. So maybe they're not doing their individual dances until tomorrow? Not sure, but one hour is a very short amount of time to get nine dances in, plus fluff.

Oh, and Shawn is dancing the Rhumba tomorrow. Not gonna lie, I'm excited to see how she's going to do with this one now that she's older and more comfortable with her dancing.

ETA: Oh, I betcha I know how this is going to go. Emmit, Kirstie, Giles and Kelly are going to do their individual dances tonight, and Team Shawn/Call Me Maybe will dance the team dance. Then tomorrow, Shawn, Apolo, Melissa and Sabrina will do their individual dances and Team Giles/Gangam Style will do their team dance. That way, you only have to do five dances each night...fits into an hour nice and easy!

Please, can we just not do samba on this show any more? Please? It's never pretty. At least not since Apolo and Julianne.

And no, Bruno, that was not as a dance. There wasn't enough freakin' rumba content. Swinging the girl around and holding her while she does a vertical split is not in fact dancing.

Next time, let's leave Carrie Anne on the floor, mkay?

That may be the best thing to ever happen on this show.

...you're not missing a huge part of it, mlp.

Well, okay, it was still awful samba (honestly, if I wanted to see samba of this caliber I can watch myself in the studio mirror) but at least Emmitt was having fun.

There's a lot to be said for a positive, happy attitude - it's contagious!

Per twitter, Sanya Richards-Ross is in the audience and cheering for Shawn.

Tonight's individual dances were painful.... talented people tomorrow, yay!

Carri-Ann totally would've given "Call Me Maybe" a 10 if Gilles were on the team. :shuffle:

I laughed and laughed and laughed and then laughed some more. I got a bad case of the giggles when Carri-Ann fell off her chair. I was afraid I was going to have one of my laughing fits that sometimes go on in excess of 15 minutes and sometimes leads to me bawling my eyes out to finish it. Fortunately, my giggles calmed down but even thinking about it right now ... I'm smiling. Better get that picture/video out of my head before I start giggling again.

Can I just say that I lurved Giles' dancing and I don't care how "little" they danced properly.

Oh yeah, freestyle team dancing -- ROCKS!!

    That is all :D

The dancing didn't do anything for me this week. The team dance was the best thing.

Some of that hookup article sounds like BS... Shawn and Mark? Don't buy it.
