First half was pretty well-played on both sides, third quarter is really sloppy. C'mon Skins!!!

Poor RGIII! I think Atlanta should win over the Seahawks, but they didn't close out the season that well, so it might be interesting. Can't wait for Ravens-Broncos and Packers-49ers!

Alright, call me more of a Jewish mother than a sports fan, but that guy has been playing hurt for a month. We're not ready to go deep into the playoffs yet anyway. I'm fine with our season ending in the playoffs, and just like the Nats, with more seasoning the 'skins will be able to contend with anyone. And RGIII gets several months to get his knee better! For god's sake, coaches, he has his whole career ahead of him!

Yay Ravens for getting a playoff win at home! And against the Colts, no less. Glad CBS decided to show Ray Lewis's final pre-game dance :)(). I hope next week isn't his last game, but given that we're playing the Broncos, in Denver, I'm not too optimistic. C'mon guys, keep Ray playing!

As sad as I am that the Redskins lost, and even if RGIII didn't get hurt again, I don't know if I could have taken another week of them playing him in this condition. It was just painful to watch.

It was a great comeback year for the Skins so I hope RGIII heals quickly, but more importanly fully.

    In the meantime, GO RAVENS!

RGIII is having knee reconstruction today and may or may not be ready for training camp/opening day next season.

Shanahan absolutely should have pulled him at halftime, for a couple of reasons. One, he couldn't play! He couldn't run, he couldn't throw the ball well, he could not help the team at that point and it was obvious to everyone including the Seahawks. Two, because he was compromised it put him at further risk because he couldn't run or maneuver to get away from hits.

    Dear Bills fans,
I hate you all. Nothing personal but your team stole my coach.
    Love,
Your friendly neighborhood Syracuse fan. ;)

Shanahan has managed to make himself more controversial than Congress in this town, and that's saying something. I have heard people bitching about this in the office, the Safeway, the drug store....it's probably being bitched about in the Oval Office.

This Seahawks fan is bitching about him too. I don't care about how much RG3 wanted to stay in the ball game, Shanahan should have pulled him.

Also, this off topic, but there's no college thread, so I'll say it here: Roll Tide, y'all. :)

My Niners are in the playoffs again, WHEE!!

I, too, am sad about RG3. My gosh, he's awesome but that knee, I could cry for him. :(

    Flacco OWNS!!! Awesome throw!

Eli Manning would not have thrown that interception in that situation.:EVILLE:

Yay Ravens!!!! I thought for sure this would be their last game, but they refused to give up. Loved the shots at the end of Ray Lewis and of John Harbaugh kissing Ray Rice. And even more amazing given that it was what, 9 degrees at game time? Maybe Houston will win tomorrow and they'll get to play next week where it will probably feel tropical after tonight, lol.

Unlike his lil' brother :p Peyton is not good in cold weather, so it's weird that he chose Denver for his new home. He looked miserable out there, trying desperately to warm himself. Even with two special teams TDs he could not get it done. That said, his defense did not help him one bit.

Green Bay needs to fire Dom Capers, his defense could not make a stop last night. Tackling was awful, and seriously, the man-to-man coverage was not working, how about trying some zone or making other halftime adjustments?? Not good.

On the other hand, good on San Francisco, what a clinic Kaepernick put on! Hope he can keep that going next week.

    Falcons :wall:

After an awesome first half against the Seahawks, they are doing everything in their power to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. WTF?

So happy for Matt Ryan and the Falcons! Got scary there at the end! Russell Wilson almost got Seattle a comeback win there!

Good lord, the last 5-6 minutes of that game were an adrenaline roller-coaster  -- Three times, I screamed so loudly at my tv I scared the shit out of the cats .

The Falcons need to get their shit together before next week against San Francisco. Thankfully it's at home again, so they'll have the crowd momentum on their side :).
