I watched Giants/Cowboys. Sigh. I loathe the Cowboys. Why couldn't Victor Cruz catch a ball?

    Aw, RIP Art!

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of the Cowboys either. I can't help thinking that the Giants will fare better in the long run regardless of this loss to the Cowboys.

Giants will be fine down the road. One break they get is that the NY media will totally be distracted by the Jets and their soap opera that the Giants wont be under the pressure they might be if they start badly.

First bold prediction....Rex Ryan doesn't last the season because the Jets are going to be a disaster. OK, not that bold of a prediction... :)

Dare I say! Skins might have an offensive line? And a QB who doesn't look like a deer in the headlights? And receivers who can catch? It's too early to tell, but this is a new look.

The Redskins are definitely impressing me so far.

Got to say "Go Pack Go!"

    Patriots! :cheer: :cheer2:

Their defense still seems to have the habit of somehow succeeding while inspiring almost no confidence. But my fellow Syracuse Alum Chandler Jones had a GREAT game!

Eagles stink, but they somehow managed to win.

My Niners go into Lambeau and beat the Packers there for the first time since 1990!!!! Great start to the season. ;)

I think I'm in love with Robert Grififn III. :swoon::swoon: What an amazing debut! Hope he keeps it up as the season progresses.

I know! The defense needs to gel, but 40 points? It's been a while.

Steelers defense must have been *too* rested after that long third quarter drive. :wall:

Pretty good game Steelers v. Broncos. Peyton Manning looking strong after being out last season.

LOL, but I think the packers will be fine. This season there are a couple of different teams I'm rooting for, but part of me wants the packers to win another SB just so Aaron Rodgers has more Superbowls than Brett Favre.

I've lived in the DC area a few years now and have never quite warmed to the Redskins, but even I couldn't help but root for them a bit yesterday. Of course now the expectations are set even higher, but maybe this year they'll actually be close to living up to them.

So nervous for the Bengals tonight! Tough tough opener. And I had no idea the game was early so I have an appointment and won't be able to watch until the second half most likely. :wall: (Going to completely miss the US Open men's final as well...wahhhh)

It is just a sign of the football season. It has not been a good start for my teams. :wall:

So can John Elway, I guess, for the time being. ;)

My Giants spoiled my excitement for this NFL season opening. They must have thought they're still playing pick up games. :D

RGIII is all the rage in DC today. It's a great day to be a Redskins fan, but I won't go as far as my friends, who think this is the beginning of a golden era. Way too soon to tell.

Yeah, I have liked RGIII since his college days and was glad he had a great debut, but this was just one game. we'll have to see how he plays when teams have a better idea of what to expect from him. I hope he keeps it up. He seems like a solid guy and it is also cool that he not only graduated college in three years but also almost has his master's degree.

I'm thinking I'm the only Cowboys fan on this board ;) That's all good. Been a fan for over 40 years, ain't gonna change now! (Even though my season is often over by October).

Nice to see Jay Cutler back to his usual self last night. Four picks and getting belligerent with his own teammates. ;)

Oh Jay . Never gonna change. The only thing I'll say for him is at least it looks like he has less of a double chin.

I was glad to see the Packers come back strong after their loss to the 49ers last week.

    Awesome!

You're not alone, I'm a Cowboys fan living in DC! I used to nickname my dog "DeBarkus Ware" during the football season.
