I just tuned in, in time to see Preaubert using my favorite piece of music to grind up the ice a bit....

Several of Patrick's landed jumps have shaky or turned out landings.

Totally agree with Tara: "It's not about a pretty movement but about finding the intent behind that movement" (or something along those lines).

Alissa was even better in HD. Sigh.

I guess NBC is going to skip CoC since they'll show SA next Saturday. Unless they'll show it on Sunday. Although skipping the ladies wouldn't be too sad. :shuffle:

Dare I say it, for an American figure skating broadcaster, next to Mr. Button of course,, Tara has superb technical assessment skills. She seems to be able to pick out precise details of what was wrong with an element. Did she ever coach?

I am really impressed with Tara's commentary! I also agree with that comment about the "intent behind the movement." Plus, she's pointing out technical flaws I might not have noticed, like Lacoste tending to "reach for the ice" on jump landings as well as some under-rotations.

Yeah, Tara is great. So much more enjoyable and knowledgeable than Scott.

Why must they show the abandoned puppy and kitty commercials? :wuzrobbed

Love, love, love Ksenia's dress, gorgeous color on her, better than I remember it on IN last week. Ditto for Alyssa. :)

Grrr, I forgot. . . . And now it's 6 pm and that's that. Thank heavens for IN, although it would have been nice to see things in HD.

I like that NBC is showing all this season's coverage in TRUE HD this time instead of simply upconverting SD coverage. The HDTV picture is welcomed, especially for someone like me who archives the videos ;)

No CoC on NBC. Same as last season. :(

NBC SA coverage will be on Sunday, 4-6 pm ET.

They keep saying it is taped coverage, but they will be on at the same time as the FD. So, probably a bunch of highlights plus maybe some FDs live. But that is just a guess.

NBC will show Ladies FS live and probably highlights from the other disciplines when they chack skaters/during warmups.

Universal Sports TV is covering SA live Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (Free Dance).

The events have been switched so the Ladies FS will be televised live. I imagine they'll show the last group of ladies and men and possible D/W's FD (although they didn't show B/A's FD last year when they won).
