Or perhaps there is a liquid equivalent that could be given as a shot. That might be easier for you to tolerate. Probably just the thought of having to swallow makes your throat close up. It would mine, if I were afraid it was going to make me worse.

(((Jesse))) My mother was having nausea and difficulty taking her pills following surgery, we found it was much easier for her if she could take the meds with a little bit of applesauce or yoghurt. You are always in my thoughts.

About 1 teaspoon. A little more can't hurt. Good luck!

Hello Jesse. It is a dark and stormy Halloween here in Chicagoland. It's raining so hard, no trick or treaters have come by yet. Hope you are breathing easier this afternoon and hope your evening goes well. Sending you lots of Halloween hugs. (((((Jesse))))))

i enjoyed watching your video's Jesse, you have some similarity to Buttle - in your carriage and line.. Hope you get the breathing aspect sorted as not okay to feel so panicky - I know when I had pneumonia if felt almost like i was drowing - such a horrible experience made me stop smoking! Hope you get some decent sleep tonight.. and if you don't maybe you could get online to watch the cup of china grand prix?? ((( hugs))) xxx

I decided to quit the antibiotics today.

Horrible night... suffocating feeling AGAIN, so perhaps it's not my oxygen tank at home causing it.

Hello Jesse, thanks again for continuing to update us on your difficult journey -- that cannot be easy. (Know that if you want, you can also talk about your emotions, not just the physical issues.) We are here for you and will stay by you. I hope you have a peaceful night and can watch some of the GP China competition. Take care.

    Jesse,
Here are some CoC vids in case you didnt find them yourself yet. I haven't seen anything yet, the time difference is too much for me. I am a night owl, but this comp would have me staying up all night. Will your bandwidth limitations allow you to watch any of these?

I hope they make you more comfortable soon! like NOW, if I were queen of the Fort Macleod Hospital. :glamor:
I lit a candle for you in church tonight. Sending love and prayers for comfort and energy.

HI Jesse, I'm sorry that your breathing is not getting better. Is the coughing any better? I'm not sure that stopping the antibiotics is the right thing to do. But it is your decision, and I will respect it. Have you discussed the suffocating feeling with a doctor or a nurse? There may be something they can do to help. Possibly your oxygen needs to be a higher %? Possibly there is a med they can give you. Possibly there is something they can do positioning you, that will help. Sweetie, we don't want to harp on this, but you really need to ask for what you need. Whatever your feeling is about your caretakers, the one thing they cannot do is read your mind. You have to help them help you. Sending you big hugs and positive thoughts. I hope tonight is better for you.

The doctors/nurses just don't do anything, EVER.. so it's more annoying trying to tell them about it.
He just keeps talking about the blood transfusion but nothing is ever getting done about it. But I was on the antibiotics for over a week, getting tortured by those pills and it still just got worse everyday so I'm not taking that any longer.
