Colorado won the evening gown.
Joan re: Missouri: "She was dipped in Gatorade".
Oklahoma's dress was not attractive to me. Is Ms. Michigan of middle eastern descent?
I liked Cali's dress the best. I thought Ms Colorado's dress didn't fit her well, near the rear it looked gathered.
Miss Oklahoma and Miss Missouri had two of the most godawful gowns I've ever since in a pageant. Especially the former - it was horrid.
She is Lebanese-American, according to Wiki.
I liked miss oklahoma's dress. miss missouri not so much.
Please. It's so we can snark at them.
I say Ms Michigan better win. That's the only woman up there I can see competiting the gorgeousness of the South American women, Asian and Eastern Euro women. She's exotic looking.
But she's an arrogant bint. If she wins, her ego won't fit in the building.
Don't know who's out, but Michigan and Colorado are in. American blondes are not "in" for Miss Universe unless they are extraordinary.
Ms Teen USA's name is Stormy...
See? We're all nice here in Nebraska.
lol, that's what it takes. Ms Venezuela is usually aloof but damn if you make it out of Venezuela as the winner, you got braggin rights.
So who's been the most beautiful Miss Universe of recent memory?
I'd turn straight for Jennifer Hawkins.
Mori (JPN) was adorable too.
I haven't watched much of this competition, other than they beginning when they were introduced, but I did tune back in just in time for the evening gown competition (which is always my favorite part). When I first saw Missouri at the beginning of the show, I thought she was the most gorgeous of all 51 contestants. And while she physically still looked gorgeous during the evening gown segment, her dress was definitely a mistake. The top & bottom didn't go together at all. I thought the top looked fine and maybe the bottom could look good depending on the design of the top, but the top & bottom as a whole were awful. *sigh*
Oklahoma (Ok, the dress has grown on me in past 10 minutes)
Now, you gotta prove ya gotta brain, girls!
It's going to be a blonde podium.
Michigan and Colorado in, which is all that really matters, but I think California should have made it over one of the other blonds.
I'm outta here. Not impressed at all with the top five.
I'm rooting for Colorado or Maine so far - I don't necessarily think they'll win, but so far they've annoyed me the least.
Tuning in just in time for the question. *insert evil laugh*
Dayana Mendoza - Venezuela
Mpul? - Boswana
Vega from Domincan Republica
Whom would you have chosen?
EW, Michigan did the phoney pageant "Thank you!" at the end of her statement.
Michigan... eww, please go back and join Carrie Prejean in obscurity...
Ms Colorado's posture is not good, she stands to far back on her hips.
Botswana, true, lovely and such poise!
Trinidad & Tobago was very glam and classy too.
She also fist pumps for herself. Pleh.
This is "a" question, not THE question
Nice of the host to mock Miss Maine's height. Please somebody pick Johnny's name!!!!!
None of the top five.
Oklahoma - blah
Michigan - will win or second, needs more refined speaking
Colorado - first or second
Virginia - not gonna happen
Maine - she may "read" better in person, but I don't think so
Oh. But it's ok when Plushy does it.
Johnny is in fat Liz Taylor wearing Halston at Studio 54 drag.
Gonna go with Maine.... Has Maine EVER produced any National title?
She could make history. And those question were just BLECHH.
Dear god, she thinks she's Snooki.
At least he's done more than walk around in an evening gown. I mean, *I* can strut around in an evening gown in five inch heels, but I'm not cheering myself on, you know? I can't land a quad, though. Or a waltz jump that's more than two inches off the ice.
So if Miss Colorado wants to cheer for herself, I'm fine with that.
They don't introduce the judges?????
But are either of them beautiful, funny, intelligent, intimidating nerds???? I don't think so!
Has anyone understood one word that weird Australian dude has been saying?
"There's a name on the cod!"
Separate names with a comma.
