RIP, he was an excellent newsman.
He had one of the most distinctive and comforting voices on TV. He and Ed Bradley were the heart of 60 Minutes...RIP.
Mr. Wallace was a pioneer in many areas of television.
A great journalist - another giant gone.
His reporting made a real difference in the public perception of many historic people and events.
Just saw the piece on MSNBC. He was a great journalist, and he will be always remembered for 60 minutes.
Rest in peace.

He was *the* voice of 60 minutes from the time I was a little kid (when the show first started), RIP Mike and, job well done.
He was incomparable.
I can just imagine him approaching St. Peter at the gate, exclaiming, "I'm Mike Wallace."
