Which countries will win the final 6 places at the qualifying comp?
I voted for S. Korea. Jin-Seo Kim really caught my eye at Worlds. Big talent there. Although I realize I picked him for the wrong Olympics.
The recent Worlds results are actually not that useful in predicting the results from Nebelhorn, since we only have free skate scores from Strid and Godorozha. The highest combined score from the skaters mentioned is (I believe) Martinez, but that was from Junior Worlds.
Ronald Lam isn't on the poll list - does that mean he doesn't have the citizenship requirements to go to the Olympics?
I wanna see
Justus Strid (DEN) - just because his brother is so entertaining! Imagine the emotions and dramas if Justus made it to the Olympic final!
Stephane Walker (SUI) - I like his understated style of skating. He reminds me of Jeremy Abbbott
Valter Virttanen (FIN) - Pleasant skater.
Maciej Cieplucha (POL) - poor guy has finished in 25th place in his last 2 worlds. I thought he had done enough this year ... but not to be
Then I don't really know, maybe Pavel Ignatenko and Zoltan Kelemen...
Martinez has to win a spot!
Martinez and any of the korean kids.
Cieplucha for sentimental reasons.. He's missed the LP by one spot FOUR times already (2 at Euros + 2 at Worlds).
