I hope this is not true. Stuff like this randomly pops up from time to time that turns out to be fake. I know nothing about that site though so it could be reliable or a completely made up scam.

Hmm, nothing on any other sites so far. You'd think at least Facebook and Twitter would be on it, but I see nothing as well...

I posted something on Facebook, mentioning that I hope it is not true. Almost an experiment in a way, to see if others run with it even though I mentioned nothing was in any reputable news outlet yet.

If this is a joke, I'll be wishing some very unGodly things for that reporter.

Look at the bottom of the website, it says the story is 100% FAKE. I've been duped by them before.

I'll never understand how this is "entertainment"...

So the lesson here is that no celebrity should ever go to Queensland Australia! You are bound to die.

My only other exposure to that site was a fake story about Ann-Margaret being killed falling off a cliff while filming a movie.

    Again, how is this entertaining?

I'm going to edit the title to reflect that this story isn't true, but leave the thread open so people can complain about fake stories. :p

Me, neither! It's never an entertainment to talk about somebody's deaths.

Wow, how far some nutjobs will go!

According to that article, this occurred at 5:30AM in Australia on the 27th, which would have been almost 24 hrs ago. It would be really odd to not have this news broken in more widespread fashion, but maybe I'm just really, really hoping this is not true. That website looks very weird, and if you try to search for just "global associated news", it brings up a bunch of links about celebrity death hoaxes....

ETA: others beat me to it! Whew!

Don't know if it was the same site, but there was a similar story about Adam Sandler and a skiing accident a few months back.

My heart almost stopped when I first saw this. And April Fool's Day isn't until next week!
