Thanks, manleywoman. I remember that incident in 1994 and also taped it. I believe Tonya was having trouble with one of her shoe laces. It either wasn't tight enough, too short or something like that. Great transcript! :)

AWESOME. Loved the interview with Ricky Harris. Gee, who woulda thought that carefully listening to your music before getting out on the ice would make a difference in your performance? :p (I think ALL skaters should undergo some sort of musical training, even if it's just an "intro to music appreciation" course.)

Once again, manleywoman, a huge thank you. You have given us an irreplaceable and invaluable treasure trove of figure skating history. You have inspired other fs fans to venture into bringing discussion about figure skating to the fore, since no one else is filling that void. I wish you had been able to interview Ina Bauer and Toller Cranston too. :( However, the interviews you have been able to capture and present to us are simply amazing, enlightening, entertaining, and unforgettable. You started things off with Kurt Browning!!! What a coup. :) And you finally landed Dick Button!!! :cheer: Plus you inspired PJ Kwong to start her figure skating podcast in Canada. And fortunately, she did interview Toller Cranston, as well as his coach and mentor, Ellen Burka!

We definitely can never thank you enough, Allison! Best wishes to you and your family!
