Wonderful interview! Love Jeremy's mom!
Thank you so much. I loved reading the transcript about Tom Dickson. I'm impressed with the list of students he had.

Debi Thomas and Alex McGowan need to get into a counseling session and work things out.
Thank you so much! Your podcast site is an absolute treasure.
Angie, Tom Dickson had an impressive professional career, also.
He was featured in Torvill and Dean's "Face The Music" tour/video; along with his wife, Catarina Lindgren.
I have to give a HUGE shout-out to my fan Fiona who offered to do these transcriptions in her free time. They are amazingly thorough and well done. it was something people had asked for for years (mainly those who couldn't listen to the audio for various reasons) but i never had the time to do myself. Plus it helps my SEO. So I'm very grateful to her for the help. I have a link to her photography website on every transcription, so I hope a few of you have clicked through to check it out.
Oh, I would definitely love to see the video. I'd love to see some of Tom Dickson's pro skating. I think it's time to do a YouTube search.
manleywoman, please let Fiona know how much the readers of the transcripts appreciate all the hard work, and how much we've enjoyed reading them. I know I have for sure.
She lurks on FSU, so hopefully she'll see this herself. But I'll let her know. She's providing a real service to me, and I know to everyone else as well.
Highlights of #42 with George Spiteri of SP Teri Boots.
Here are two examples:
#57 with Roy Blakey now transcribed. He's a long-time collector of skating memorabilia.

Thank you very much! I listen to these podcasts on my morning walks, but would love to read through them for things I've missed.
Highlights of my interview on The Manleywoman SkateCast with Barbara Ann Scott (SkateCast #43) now transcribed. Very grateful I could preserve her voice before she passed away.
Also my interview with four members of the Professional Skating Historical Foundation (Jaya Kanal, Dorian Valles, Susan Austin and Tony Kudrna) is transcribed as well.
SkateCast #59 with Moira North and Doug Webster of Ice Theater of NY now transcribed.
SkateCast #44 with Jojo Starbuck now transcribed.
Love the story about how she . . . of all people . . . needed a sex test to prove she was female.
#45 Live coverage of the 2011 US Nationals now transcribed. Interviews with Charlene Wong, Rusty the in-arena host, Doug Razzano and his mom, Kori Ade, Jerod Swallow, Ben Agosto and more.
Skatecast #46 with Yuka Sato is now transcribed.
Thanks, manleywoman. I remember that incident in 1994 and also taped it. I believe Tonya was having trouble with one of her shoe laces. It either wasn't tight enough, too short or something like that. Great transcript!
Wow - Jojo Starbuck really was a special snowflake!
Part 1 of SkateCast #62 with 1960 Olympic Gold Medalist and skating legend Carol Heiss Jenkins is now transcribed.
One of my favorite quotes from this interview:
Highlights from Part 2 of SkateCast #63 with Carol Heiss Jenkins are now transcribed.
SkateCast #47 with David Jenkins now transcribed.
. . . and SkateCast #48 with Randy Gardner now transcribed!
SkateCast #50 with David Kirby. One of my personal favorite interviews.
SkateCast #49 with Timothy Goebel now transcribed
Hi everyone. My fantastic transcriber Fiona McQuarrie has completed ALL the interviews!! I want to give a huge shout out to her and huge thanks to her for all the work over the years, and getting all of these accessible to those who couldn't hear the audio!!!
That's awesome! Thanks to both of you for all of your hard work!
Thank you, Fiona!
Professionalism all around here, with all sincerity it is greatly appreciated.
AWESOME. Loved the interview with Ricky Harris. Gee, who woulda thought that carefully listening to your music before getting out on the ice would make a difference in your performance? (I think ALL skaters should undergo some sort of musical training, even if it's just an "intro to music appreciation" course.)
