Ilia Kulik has been signed to do an 8 show 'Kings on Ice' tour starting on Nov. 21 in Russia. I have that information and it's definite but I don't have any cities with dates. Anyone have anything? I think it goes into the first week in December and that's it.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Sylvia!! I'm not sure about anyone else in the cast but I know from Ilia's management that he has signed for this.

I also just got word that Kings on Ice will probably be performing on Dec. 3 in Moscow. Let's hope...

I get my info about Kings of Ice from Lambiel livejournal community. Currently the shows listed ( I think some shows had to be canceled) are:
    21 ноября - Череповец. (Nov.21- Cherepovetz)
    23 ноября - Новосибирск (Nov. 23- Novosibirsk)
    25 ноября - Екатеринбург (Nov. 25- Ekaterinburg)
    26 ноября - Пермь (Nov. 26- Perm)
28 ноября - Нижний Новгород (Nov. 28- Nizhnij Novgorod)

Ir would be great if they could perform in Moscow:)

I just got these dates (which I think match Sylvia's) from Ilia's agent who just got them from the producer. So at the moment they're accurate - who knows what tomorrow will bring.

Moscow is a 'maybe' but moving toward a definite. If I hear anything more on that I will post it.

See Kings on Ice dates on Ilia's schedule:

Glad to see Ilia on KOI cast :)

but aren't there too many single male skaters? Plushenko, Lambiel, Weir, Bradley, Ilia....seem strange for an ice show.

I think what we're seeing is last year's list combined with Ilia. The producer told Ilia's folks yesterday that the cast list will be up on their site later this week or early next so it hasn't been published yet. I think Plush (obviously), Ryan and Ilia are the men we actually know about so far. Anyone else remains to be announced. I think Weir is doing something in the U.S. in that time frame and I don't know about Lambiel.

Johnny has said so many time he'll perform in Russia.I think he will attend the show undoubtedly.

I don't think he has any new project in the USA,does he? Do you mean ABC's "Skating with the Stars" ?

Johnny did this tour (not all the stops) last year and I think that's why his name is still attached to some of the commmunications about it. But we'll see within a week or so - maybe he's doing it.

Yes, I was referring to that Skating with the Stars show.

Johnny was announced for this year for sure- but perhaps an invite from ABC came soon afterwards and he had to withdraw? Interesting! We'll know soon:)

    seems you are right....

Do you know what he will do on the SWTS show?If he paticipate the show ,will he lose his amateur eligibility?

    Thank you!

My impression is that he will be a judge and that cannot affect his eligibility in any way. I don't anticipate ever seeing him compete again but at this point he certainly can if he'd like.

They still need Urmanov to get it perfect = all Russian male Olympic champions in figure skating on the same ice....

then I'll just have to fly to Russia, even if it means going through that ridiculous Visa application again.

Chize - where did you get any information that Yagudin is in this show? I went to the Alexei discussion group and there's nothing on it there. Or are you just saying that it would be great (which it would)? Do you have it from a good source?

It took me a month last automn before Rostel to finally get it one day before my flight, I have noted down a guide how not to get frustrated until you get it :D

Lambiel's video from Crystal Ice but he talks about KOI and touring russian at the end
    Is Bradley going for sure?

It's on there in two different threads, but as it was not yet officially confirmed I didn't have a special thread for it. This is the original source:

    http://community.livejournal.com/lambiel_ru/

People asked about it on Plush's official Russian forum - the response from the admins was that it was not officially confirmed by Ari Zakarian as of yet.

And now it appears that nothing is happening! One of our Krew members in Russia told us this morning that the whole tour has been cancelled. She was passing along what she has read on Russian boards. Plushenko could be hurt. the sponsor pulled the money or crappy ticket sales- those are the only reasons I can think could produce a total cancellation.

Yikeees!!! That has to be deeply disappointing and unpleasant for organizers, participants and fans. Wonder what happened, as no reason seems to be given.

From what I heard sounds like the producers did it but I still have no notion of the reasons.
