Google Translate reads: "A few minutes ago we could speak with him [Fernández] who has confirmed that this summer will begin training with Canadian Brian Orser. For now, they will test and if they conform well to each other, they will permanently. The second week of July, Javier plans to attend a summer camp in that country."

Did he leave Morosov or is this because Russia is not allowing Morosov to train with any non Russian at the moment, at least not full time? I am not sure Morosov was fired, so to speak.

He went from training in Spain, to the US, to Russia, and now to Canada in no time. If that does not show you how much this kid is willing to succeed?
I suppose that a Toronto choreographer will do his programs...can't wait to see that.

The article says the relationship with Morosov was broken, it doesn't imply what caused it but it says Javier has been looking for a new coach for a while.
In an earlier post on the same site the journalist states that he spoke to Javier who said that he and Morosov "weren't going through one of their best moments".

Those "moments" would be any second of poor Javier's programs from this year....

The Free Fernandez campaign was very successful. I'll try to recruit Andrey for liberating I/K.

Maybe Morozov is dropping the skaters if they dont have immediate success under him, Amodio became Euro Champion so he kept him. I m happy for Fernandez anyway, one more careta careta free!

Shae Lynn Bourne could choreograph wonderful programs for Javier.
    David Wilson, not so much.
    (I can't believe I just said that)

This will be interesting. Besides Gao I guess Fernandez will be Orser's only elite student right now. I'm interested to see if the relationship works out since Rippon and Kim both left Orser recently.

Maybe Fernandez is happy he likely won't have to wear purple jackets with green ties anymore. ;)

I don't know why Amodio would leave Morozov at this point. He had a great season - GP Finalist, Euro. champ, and a solid showing at worlds. Don fix what ain't broken is the motto I live by.
