thanks for sharing, didn´t know she had an evita-exhibition. i really like the song and was always a fan of miki, but she definetly improves as a complete skater day by day, i really like her presence on the ice.
great to see her skate like that.
will be curious to see, if she really comes back and tries for a medal in sotchi, but i fear the worst

An exhibition was held at Sendai rink, Sendai, Japan, on March 11.

This is the training rink for Yuzuru Hanyu, and
he was on the ice when the massive earthquake hit and destroyed the rink,
forcing the place to close for the following 4 months.

You can see Takeshi Honda, Shizuka Arakawa, and Yamato Tamura in the video as well.

How long has Mervin trained in Japanese environment? Narumi spoke English quite well.

Mervin doesn't train in a Japanese environment. Narumi trains with Mervin in Canada, with Canadian coaches and choreographers.

Tatsuki Machida skated to an exhibition program, Les Demoiselles de Rochefort ,
at his home rink in Hiroshima, Japan, on April 22.

He performed it so passionately and emotionally – very impressive!!

Fantastic news. I'm hoping this means better choreography and better costumes too.

ETA: Ha, I already see so many negative comments on Twitter because of this. Hard for many Japanese to accept Orser as a good guy after "demonizing" him for so many years. Well, when he gives them their first Olympic gold in figure skating, they'll make him honorary citizen of Tokyo. :p

 Hasn't he always been training in Japan? This sounds like a huge change. He and Fernandez are going to have a ball with those quads.

He'll still go to school in Sendai, so I hope he won't wear himself out traveling back and forth to Toronto.

I don't get what you mean at all. And we already have Shizuka's OGM in figure skating.

I am guessing he means many Japanese fans don't like him because he helped Kim win the gold over Asada in 2010.

Men's figure skating. Sorry, the "men" was omitted.

And I guess you must have missed all the Yuna/Orser bashing. Consider yourself lucky. ;)

There are 126 million Japanese. By many, how "many" do you mean? Basing your statement on a few trolls on Twitter doesn't really cut it, in my opinion. :p

That only means that you might want to reconsider who you follow on Twitter.

Only negative comments about Orser on my Timeline today are about Fernandez's suspenders. ;)
