    ...and I feel fine. :hat1:

It's now 12.12.12 on the US West Coast. Depending on whether you believe the world will end December 12, or December 21, or some other random time, how are y'all gonna celebrate? :40beers: :inavoid:

    I'm going to work overtime.

Okay, I'm kidding. I'm meeting some people I met during NaNoWriMo for a write-in.

I thought it was going to end on the 21st. So I am pretty relaxed right now. :)

In Wisconsin, today is not the end of the world--it is Aaron Rodgers day. So whoop it up Packer fans!

I'm sticking with my plans. I'll be spending the holidays with my family. I'll be in my car driving to my famiy's home on the 21st. If there should be a pole shift change, and the gravity fluctuates, I guess I'll make an unintentional detour through the universe before I make it there. ;)

I intentionally started a long-overdue letter to my niece at exactly 12:12 p.m., 12/12/12 (and pretentiously dated it that way :drama:). I told her I was sending her an historic document to treasure for all time in the hopes she would overlook my being so negligent in my correspondence.

On the 21st - I'm meeting a friend in Portland and going to Hale Pele - a Tiki Bar. So, I might not even notice if Mt. Hood erupts, or the Columbia river starts rising. I'll just be drinking a Zombie!:40beers::hat1:

I was texting with my husband at 12:12 pm. I know this because I set an alarm on my phone so I wouldn't miss it.

My husband and family has had fun teasing me all year long about not having to buy a birthday present for me this year. My birthday is December 22. With all the talk of the world ending on the 21st they've been teasing how if we're still around on the 22nd they'll rush out and grab a gift. I already get teased about it being the shortest darkest dreariest day of the year. Ah well. All in good fun.

But the Mayans lived in the US Central time zone, so it would actually happen on the 22nd for Australia. ;) I just hope it happens before I go to work tomorrow--I do NOT want that group to be the last one I see :yikes:

Well, it's the 21st here, and it's a lovely, sunny, blue sky warm day.

I do however have to brave the shops on crutches one last time. Bugger. Maybe the world IS about to end...mine anyway!

    Google Facts just tweeted:

NASA has confirmed that on the 21st of December, late evening, the sky is going to turn very dark. This is a phenomenon called "Night".

Well, if it could please wait until I'm nicely snoozing, that'd be appreciated. It better not wait til I get up tomorrow. That would be very rude.

Bought some plane tickets yesterday for next month, so if the world ends I don't have to pay the credit card bill and if it doesn't I get to go on a trip so it's all good! :cheer:

It's not at all surprising that the world didn't end - clearly the world as we know it won't end until the Jewish year 6,000, 227 years from now. I for one do not intend to be present for the event, but if any future FSUers come across this thread, you read it here first! :p
