I've edited this post re. injured Grand Prix skaters from an earlier thread to try and keep track of their current condition/status this season, if and where publicly known, in one place.
Jorik Hendrickx was diagnosed after his TEB withdrawal with a broken ankle and Danielle Montalbano suffered a broken leg bone (fibula) in practice earlier this month (and reportedly has undergone surgery): http://www.flutzingaround.com/2012/11/injury-status-of-hendrickx-montalbano.html

Posted today in the Chinese skating updates and (hearsay) reports thread:
Original thread in GSD about Narumi Takahashi's injury and withdrawal from the GP: http://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/showthread.php?85470-Narumi-Takahashi-out-of-GP-series

Posted October 17th in the German news thread:
According to a USFS press release dated November 9th, Caitlin Yankowskas/Joshua Reagan "were forced to withdraw from both of their Grand Prix assignments, Cup of China and NHK Trophy, after Reagan sustained a rib injury in practice last month."

The last known article update on Yrétha Silété's knee injury was posted in mid-September which stated that "she does not plan to be back on the ice before January at best": http://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/sho...-amp-updates&p=3687353&viewfull=1#post3687353

Posted mid-October in the Grand Prix Alternates thread in GSD:
Polina Shelepen withdrew from NHK Trophy due to a foot injury (Russian article dated Nov. 8): http://rsport.ru/figure_skating/20121108/629299254.html

Kemp/King are listed to compete at British Nationals this week.

After having withdrawn from the Cup of China, Artur Dmitriev is competing in the Russian Cup V in Moscow this week (currently 2nd after SP with a score of 71.45).

Adrian Schultheiss underwent back surgery in late October - thread in GSD: http://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/showthread.php?85466-Back-Surgery-Once-Again-for-Adrian-Schultheiss

Thanks, sammyf. IIRC, it was an injury to Stacey Kemp's knee that kept them from competing at Skate America and Canada this fall.

Lipnitskaia has withdrawn from the Grand Prix Final, as posted in the Russian news thread earlier today:
ETA article in English about Lipnitskaia's injury and withdrawal from GPF: http://en.rsport.ru/other_sports/20121130/633449572.html

As of today, Christina Gao has officially been added to the GPF to replace Lipnitskaia. Best wishes to Julia for a speedy recovery, and good luck to Christina at her first GPF!

I forgot to include another injury withdrawal from the Grand Prix - Daisuke Murakami's shoulder injury at NHK Trophy that resulted in him not being able to finish his SP. Hopefully he will be recovered in time for Nationals later this month.

Thanks Sylvia, this is a very useful thread IMO. If someone has any question about the type of injuries these skaters have, I can try to answer.

vartmann/van cleave are scheduled to skate at golden spin in zagreb and at german nationals in mid-december.
so it seems like he is back on ice and kind of ready for competition.
    fingers crossed.

Re-posting from the Belgian Nationals thread in Kiss and Cry re. Jorik Hendrickx:
It 's been confirmed that Gabriela KUBOVA / Dmitry KISELEV (CZE) split sometime after their 8th place finish at Ondrej Nepela Memorial in Sept., reportedly due, in part, to his health issues (Kubova is now skating with Matej Novak). Relevant excerpt from the CZE/SVK/POL Nationals thread in Kiss and Cry:

With Hendrickx injured I wonder if the Belgian federation might approach Kevin van Der Perren to ask if he would be willing to compete at Euros and/or London.

Here's the separate news thread in GSD about John Coughlin's surgery yesterday to repair a torn labrum in his left hip: http://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/showthread.php?86031-John-Coughlin-Out-Due-to-Hip-Surgery

Neither Sui/Han (CHN) nor Adrian Schultheiss (SWE) is listed on their respective Nationals rosters.

Alexandra Najarro (4th in Senior at 2012 Canadians) is taking the 2012-13 season off reportedly due to injury -- hearsay info is posted in this thread: http://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/showthread.php?86021-Alexandra-Najarro-Skate-Canada-Challenge

Sadly, add Ashley Wagner to the list with her *hip pointer* injury (aka "bruised hip"). :(

It looks like it may be the case of the last one standing whom wins. Slow & steady is the way to go.

Evgeni's smart to pick & choose his competitions, save his body for the most important one of all, the Olympics. Of course he earned this privilege, the rest have yet to prove themselves, thus leading to injury...

Still waiting on that one...it was posted in GS but "?" behind it, so there hasn't been any confirmation on that.........I sure hope it's not a break, but a sprain is not so good either.

I really, really hope that rumor is inaccurate. :(

But if so, best not to rush the recovery. Thank goodness there's still 3 months till London though it'd pretty much have to be about qualifying three spots for Canada in Sochi rather than aiming for the podium.

Yesterday's CBC Toronto news segment on Kaitlyn Weaver's return to the ice can still be viewed online here: http://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/sho...be-on-CBC-Toronto-news-at-6pm-tonight-(Feb-7)

There were 2 injury withdrawals by U.S. skaters from Four Continents in Osaka: Adam Rippon before the competition due to an ankle injury (link to press release) and Alexa Scimeca & Chris Knierim before the Pairs SP due to an injury to her right foot (link to press release).

Updates on skaters injured this season (who don't already have their own specific threads in GSD):

John Coughlin is continuing his rehabilitation and recovery from hip surgery in early December. Although he and Caydee Denney were unable to compete at Nationals, they were provisionally named to the U.S. World team. He was practicing triple toes yesterday, according to his tweet.

Bazarova/Larionov missed Russian Nationals and Europeans in Zagreb - an update on his wrist injury can be found here: http://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/sho...nter-2012-13&p=3827628&viewfull=1#post3827628

Pechalat/Bourzat also missed Europeans, and Fabian posted on their Facebook fan page yesterday that he has returned to the ice after 4 weeks off "in shape and super motivated!"

Stacey Kemp and David King (GBR) article: http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/news/figure-skating-king-kemp-fight-pain-make-sochi-173554492.html
China's He ZHANG (he missed the JGP season reportedly due to injury) is listed for 2013 Junior Worlds in Milan, Feb. 25-Mar. 3, as of Feb. 6, 2013.

Daisuke Murakami, who withdrew from NHK Trophy this past November when he was unable to finish his SP, underwent shoulder surgery in December and currently is scheduled to compete at 2013 Triglav Trophy, April 3-7, in Jesenice, Slovenia.

Adrian Schultheiss' official site (link to his News page) states that he moved to Rome, Italy at the beginning of January and is "focusing on recovering from his back surgery [in late October... and] If things go well, he will compete before the end of the season." He has not competed since Finlandia Trophy this past fall.
