Someone may have posted this at another time. However it is lunchtime at work and I am bored so found it and did it.

    http://www.nerdtests.com/ft_nq.php

I am not nerdy and could be slightly cool.

Apparently I'm a high level nerd... haha. It might have something to do with being a chemist and getting the element questions right, though.

YAY! Though I really thought I'd gotten some of those Periodic Table questions right. I don't know if I'm cool or just a dumbass. Though I would think just by virtue of taking the test, I should get a nerd point. Being slightly nerdy IS cool. :drama:

Mid-level nerd here. "Wow, it takes a lot of hard nerdy practice to reach this level." That's right! :cheer:

I think I'm definitely pretty nerdy. I'm spending practically all of my free time making a 400-page website and not getting paid for it. :p

    Low level nerd.

I hate how all the nerd tests disregard those of us who are history and/or literature nerds! Darn it we're nerds too!

^^ WORD. Usually there's at least one question on Russian lit to prove your nerd cred. There are different types of nerds. Nerds can not like calculators or math or chemistry too! :mitchell:

Mid level nerd checking in here ... I don't mind being a little nerdy. As long as I am still cool ... :D

    21% scored higher (more nerdy),
    1% scored the same, and
    78% scored lower (less nerdy).

What does this mean? Your nerdiness is:

Mid-Level Nerd. Wow, it takes a lot of hard nerdy practice to reach this level.

This says low level nerd. But I don't do really nerdy computer things. I'm more of a math nerd. So that may have tipped the scales.

Although I did have a minor moment of realization when it asked me what my level of education was. I was about to put some college and then I realized that I have a degree now.

Not nerdy, but definitely not hip. (37% are less nerdy, 61% more)

But I've always seen myself as a geek girl rather than a nerd.

I got not nerdy but definitely not hip. I too feel discriminated against. Math was not my strong point in school. And while I am good with computers, I'm not that good. But I am a scifi nerd. And I do enjoy graphic novels.

56; "Somewhat nerdy. I mean face it, you are nerdier than about half the test takers."

    I'm a lit nerd, too :) I guess we're called "bookworms" instead? ;)

    Good question...what is a nerd?

I don't wear a pocket protector or velcro shoes but I consider myself "nerdish" and damn proud of it!

oh joy quizzes to waste time on at work

"Not nerdy, but then again maybe not all that cool either." 82% are more nerdy than I am.

 I hardly needed a quiz to tell me that

55, somewhat nerdy. I mean face it, you are nerdier than about half the test takers.

Though I don't see myself as a nerd.

I thought the exact same thing. Just because I'm not a science/math/tech nerd it tells me I'm not nerdy at all. Really? Because I've got some pretty nerdy stuff going on here. It's just history/lit nerd stuff. Seriously, having four versions of The Complete Works of Shakespeare--that's not very hip.

I scored the same. I must protest that this wasn't a fair test of my nerdiness. I'm a humanities/social sciences nerd not a science/computer geek nerd.:D

And I feel I should get bonus points for having a periodic table that's in German. Wasserstoff! Stickstoff! Kalium! Schwefel! Did the audiences in Germany get to see Eisenman 2 this summer, or do they call him Iron man? (*cue the snorting "Revenge of the Nerds" type laughter*)

Or in Russian. My 7th grade chemistry teacher claimed that Mendeleev had dreamed the actual order in the periodic table, as in sleep. Now that's ultimate nerddom to have dreams like that!
