No way I thought she didn't want to be fat! She could use this weight gain.

I hope that her OB GYN holds her down and force feeds her! I really worry for that baby and its development or lack thereof.

:drama: You Literally have no idea how much time and energy it takes being vapid, blonde, and entitled.

Anyway, JW's perspective, Rachel is probably far busier than Weir ... now that he's not putting in those 6-hour training days, anymore. :saint:

Well, I'm LITERALLY not blonde, anyway :saint:.

Oh, I don't doubt that. I just think it's hilarious to think of a pregnancy as something you find time to fit into your busy schedule. Like it or not, it's usually more a matter of working your schedule around your pregnancy.

Then there's the issue of the baby itself. I am sure she is literally too busy to interview all those future nannies. :drama:

OMG--I thought she was too skinny to even have a period, let alone get pregnant!

When she gets to be 4 months or so, she's going to tip over. She's too frail to carry grocery bags, let alone a baby. It's a miracle she's got enough strength to hold onto that venti Starbucks cup she's always walking around with.

I wouldn't be surprised if she miscarries. Any idea how far along she is? I read that link in the first post but didn't see any mention of it.

ETA: Not that I wish for her to miscarry. I just don't think she has enough body fat to regulate her own systems, let alone another humans.

Well Nicole Richie was very thin but she gained weight for her pregnancy and gave birth to a beautiful baby girl.

But while Nicole was in her 20s, Rachel is now 39. My other concern she is an extremely driven person and doesn't know how to set boundaries between her personal life and her work (she told me this when I interviewed her last month).

And as much as the press knocks her, she is actually very warm in person.

On a side note, I'm not sure Johnny is a full-time client of hers. I think she just consulted him a bit. She is 1) very expensive, 2) doesn't normally dress men, 3) has "real" A-listers to dress for awards season coming up.

I don't know who Rachel Zoe is.....:shuffle: but that other blonde female who was Paris Hilton's BFF had a successful pregnancy. She barely weighed more than a gnat.

I would take this with a literal ;) grain of salt. She's denying it in other reports.

Well, if she got pregnant, she's not as emaciated as she looks (really bad and you stop menstruating.) But she's not only underweight, from a reproductive standpoint she's OLD. Anything over 35 is into 'later life pregnancy' as far your body's concerned. (Especially if you started menstruation at 11 or 12.) She is really going to have to get a clue if she doesn't want the baby or HER to get into real trouble.

And man, some of those pictures...I guess they're not TOO bad (you can't count Kate Bosworth's ribs, for example) but others...

Yes, some are scary and emaciated looking, but I thought some of them looked okay...:shuffle: I think what looks especially horrible are the emaciated ones with all of the saggy skin. (Ahem, Rachel Zoe and Courtney Love, I'm looking at you.)

I would have thought she would have a surrogate. That way she'd have no problem to keep working as well.

That's not necessarily a good thing. For the babies or the mothers.

Ditto. I'm 35+, and still hopeful that one day I'll have children. There's nothing wrong with postponing childbearing, for whatever reason.

That's not judgemental, it's an actual fact for many mothers & babies. It's definitely a bigger risk over 35. However, a woman over 35 can have a healthy pregnancy & baby. Or not.

There are risks to everything in life, and yes, there are more risks to childbearing as one gets older. But so what? Life happens.

Maybe they're being responsible and waiting until they're financially stable? Or at least more so? Or more emotionally ready? Younger people may be less at a physical health risk, but they can also struggle more emotionally with a child/mother and fatherhood, which can be a health risk to the family too.
