Yay! Almost makes me want to join Twitter.
BronxZoosCobra Bronx Zoo's Cobra
A great cake recipe: 2 cups sugar, 4 eggs, 1 cup milk, 2 cups self-rising flour, 1 saw, 1 stick butter. And mix. Bring it by the zoo..

So much fun!!!! I wonder if the person underlying this Twitter account will ever reveal themselves? I guess that they are having far too much fun to do so.
And they are giving quite a number of people a lot of fun!
Not sure how this happened, but it appears to be real. Ryan Seacrest (or his people) have taken over the theme, supplying us with the Six Sexiest Snakes to Date. Hilarious!
I normally am not a fan of April the First-related stuff. But the snake "hacking" Seacrest's website/ twitter account if pretty great. (OT: Runnersup in the April Fools webjokes: YouTube's "1911" feature and Hulu's homepage.)
For some reason I've just been loving the anthropomorphized cobra's twitter/FB activities.
Okay -- Bronx Zoo's having a contest to name the snake. Any suggestions?
Snakey (I'm old school...)
Little skateycat suggests St. John Tie-Dye Tooth
Mr Skateycat suggessstsss SOTT (for Snake On The Town, and because he was so highly sought after)
I submitted my mother's suggestion: Sashay (to glide, move, or proceed easily or non-chalantly)
I guess Houdini is way too obvious. I freaking loved those tweets.
Personally, I think 'Indiana' or 'Indie' would be perfect. Or 'Sam' after Samuel L Jackson.
It's a girl snake.
Better not let anybody wearing a moldy old wizard's hat with a pointy sword shape get near her then.
Separate names with a comma.
