I vote for 12 spots, but with 4 assigned to "little countries" or some other wording. Because at the moment, what do you see on the Grand Prix? Russia. America. China. Canada. Japan. France. Every now and again a random nationality like Italy, Kazakhstan, or Spain.

I vote for giving the smaller skating nations something to aim for. Something more than just Senior Bs.

Oh it's designed that way more or less intentionally. And all the prize money then goes back to those same federations. :shuffle:

It's official: Misha Ge is listed for COR on the ISU site! :cheer:

No replacement yet at TEB for Besseghier, though :(

Are the team with Boyadji eligible for GP?

I'm pretty sure they don't plan to fill that spot, as it seems they won't replace neither Chafik Besseghier, nor Lenaelle Gilleron.

I'm going to TEB this year, but it might be the last year!

Edit: My bad Prölß/Blommaert are on the list now :D Congrats for them

Very excited for Misha Ge. His enthusiasm for the sport and for other skaters is so charming. I'm glad he's getting this opportunity.

    best news of the day.
    great for them.
it was so funny to see them at nebelhorn, explaining in which possibilities they might get a grand prix spot next season,...:D

Congrats to Proelss/Blommaert, they deserve it!

Shame they couldn't have filled the Ladies and Men spots as well. :(

Host picks are entirely at the organiser's discretion, IIRC. Don't Fancy/Boyadji represent the UK, though?

Great news for Annabelle and Ruben! And now they could invite Peter Liebers and Nathalie Weinzierl as well (ok, kidding, she has to do the internal German olympic qualifying competition in Meran anyhow)

I know everybody can be clever in hindsight but it was a really bad decision to rush her to compete at SC instead of giving her more time to heal. :(

The GP Announcement says nothing about withdrawals between 8 and 13 days before the Team Leaders Meeting, which for Rostelecom Cup is a week from Thursday, or 10 days from the meeting. The Russian Fed can do what it wants. The Chinese Fed made two replacements during this time period. The Japanese Fed made one last season, but left a couple open. The Russian Fed left one open last season.

Isn't Glebova on the replacement list? She seems a logical choice.
