Oh, interesting notes from the ladies: Zawadski, Musademba move up; so does Marroco.
    Monko/Khaliavin staying juniors?! Why?!
Cannuscio/Lorello got a GP event, too.

I wonder when certain skaters (Pang/Tong, Johnny, Yu-Na) will start withdrawing ;)

Gotta love the TBA in pairs spot for JPN...is anyone but Takahashi/Tran really going to get that?

    From a primarily SA perspective...

Skate America has an excellent group of dancers. Zaretskys' not really retiring? I question Crone/Poirier doing SA and SC next season--they still need more international exposure.

Pairs is pairs. I suppose Pang/Tong are not retiring?

I would MUCH rather have Nagasu than Flatt in Portland. The ladies is wide open. USA TBA--Please let it be Sasha!!!!

And we get Takahashi AND Oda! I guess Sawyer is still competing, but where is Chipeur? The USA TBA is interesting. Evan, perhaps? Because neither Abbott (if they were not gonna honour the whole reiging National Champion thing, then do that with Flatt, not Abbott) nor Weir will be present.

James/Coia are assigned to TEB - I guess that means their pairing is official?

France still has a TBA spot for men... ;)
As for I/K, you'll just have to go to Russia.

I guess Vaughn Chipeur retired? Kind of surprised, but since he's the 2nd ranked Canadian and not listed anywhere...

And still Plushy? And I was kind of surprised to see Johnny's name.

Pretty safe to guess that Duhamel/Radford will get the TBA for Skate Canada in pairs, and Khokhlova/Andreev for the TBA for Russia for dance. And I thought the Zaretskys were retiring. No?

    And Beknazarova/Zuev - didn't they reportedly split?
I thought Sarah Meier had retired as well, as had the Zaretskis. Oh, well, we'll know soon enough.

My bets on TBA spots for France: Marroco, if she has a solid first outing, and Amodio...

I hope Kanako and Laura can be top 2 at SA, all the other ladies are a snoozefest. Maybe Maxwell for the final USA spot? I can hope.

I don't know who they'll pick for the third Russian ladies spot; all their other ladies above the age of 13 or so who aren't doing the JGP pretty much suck. :shuffle:

I would imagine the TBA spot at CoR pairs will be for Mukhortova/Blanchard, if they're prepared by then. Love having GP assignments out, it's a nice break in the dearth of skating....

I didn't think M/B would be able to skate until Russian Nationals, am I messed up on the rules? Or am I confusing them with V/T?

    No Yannick Ponsero? Hmm. :/

For US men, only Johnny, Jeremy, Adam Rippon, Ross Miner, Stephen Carriere, and Brandon Mroz...and one TBA spot. Our Jr Worlds team of Messing, Mahbanoozadeh, and Hochstein will either be going back to JGP or waiting for people to withdraw from GP...

At the moment, there's only one SA spot to fight for amongst Katz/Lynch, Zhang/Toth, and Dobbs/Jacobsen...kind of a bummer there but we'll see who withdraws and what ends up happening...

For some reason, I expected Suguri, Van Der Perren, Meier, Gimazetdinova to be retired by now.

M/B will be able to skate, since Maria represented Russia, and won't have to sit out a year like Volosozhar. Blanchard hasn't skated internationally in a while.

Suguri's never going to retire :EVILLE:

    AFAIK he is still training
Gozeva maybe, or Artemieva, or Kozyreva... depends on their results earlier in the season... Biryukova is old enough, but she will go to the JGP.

Monko/Khalyavin are still in juniors? Why??? :duh:
2 spots for Zawadzki? And no Skate America? How is it possible?

Ooooh, Kozyreva. I do like her and she had some solid senior B results last year. But yeah, either her, Gozeva or Artemieva. I'd give Kozyreva or Artemieva the chance, though.

For the JPN ladies spot - maybe Ayumi Goto? She beat Nana Takeda at Nationals, is the highest ranking lady at Nationals with no GP assignment, and she has a 3F, unlike Nana. I think she's 18 and had some decent result in the a Senior B, but I could be confusing her.

I'm also surprised to see Zaretski's, Bekhnazarova/Zuev (isn't he retired?) and Zadorozhniuk/Verbillo on the list.

Wow, I thought half of these skaters had retired already? Plushenko :scream:

TEB not looking too bad, although maybe not as exciting as last year either.

    My favorite events by discipline:
    Men: Skate Canada
    Ladies: NHK
    Pairs: TEB
Dance: Hmm this one's tough, all my favorites are spreaded very evenly :drama: But maybe NHK, TEB and CoR
