Anyone watching tonight? It's not always the best show, but perhaps there will be some good performances.

    Here are the nominations:

I'm rooting for The Black Keys and Alabama Shakes

Boo to CBS for not showing the red carpet and double boo for the stodgy memorandum about not showing skin. It's the GRAMMYS. You're supposed to look  and :yikes:

Grammys are usually the most entertaining trainwreck and awesomest whatthefeckery of the award season and we've been DENIED. :wuzrobbed

I need JLo's shoes. Neeeeed them. Love how they're getting around the CBS memo--didn't say anything about legs

Taylor Swift needs to not do her own nails, and her hair needs highlights in the worst way. It's too ashy, and in certain lights looks like Kelly Osborne's grey-purple thing.

Jeeze, is Adele going to Patsy's Parlor? She looks like a giant tee cozy.

I agree. She's mastered the art of asking the most inane questions. However, that's true of most of E!'s ridiculous crew.

Giuliana dancing makes me want to stick hot pokers in my eyes. Now we have singing.

To be fair--not much, but a little bit--singers are not the most camera friendly/articulate people.

I am so nervous! Kelly is up for 4 big awards, I don't expect her to win any of them based on her competition but what an night to be the most nominated female artist! She is also performing a tribute to Patti Paige and Carole King.

The Canadian coverage has a shoe cam and a bowl full of heart shaped boxes full of questions about romance and valentines day.

Taylor was nice enough to mostly use a backing track for that performance. I thought it was visually very fun.

Ed and Elton are individually great, but not a good vocal match for a duet.

Well, Kelly lost the one award I think she had a real shot at. I love Adele but I still think live versions of songs should have their very own category. A live DVD performance is so completely different than a studio recording. At least Kelly has a performance coming up and if she had to lose to anyone in that category I wanted it to be to Adele.

Song of the Year this early in the broadcast? I know Kelly is nominated but I am kind of pulling for Ed Sheeran in this one. Kelly wouldn't win anyway since she didn't write the song.

Carly Rae should not be pissed, if she was at all. How in the world that song was nominated for a song writing award I will never understand.

I can't stand that song by fun. but it seems like they didn't have much competition in that category, although I don't think "We Are Young" is that much better written than "Call Me Maybe."

Mumford would not be who I would have imagined Johnny Depp introducing.

taylor and her dress is getting a lot of screen time. Wonder if someone is hoping her breasts fall out or something

Huh, I peeked to see if I could have a nice snark fest about the red carpet and was disappointed. No one had an out and out disaster, people actually look pretty nice. What will Joan Rivers do?

What memo? I saw people showing a discreet amount of skin but didn't see any train wrecks. Did the memo say "no train wrecks"?

I think Justin Timberlake was amazing. I think it is just that a lot of people don't care for such heavily R&B influenced music and/or they still expect him to pull out the N'Sync sound. I have a feeling Timberlake will be winning a LOT of Grammy's next year.

I love The Black Keys! Yay!

I have to say, everyone is sounding really good tonight. So many awards shows have horrible sound and the artists can't hear themselves so they go completely off key. They must have everything worked out really well.

Really disappointed the Grammies didn't do a tribute to Dick Clark except for that one little clip.
