Good for Meryl but Michelle Williams deserves the oscar.

Streep should have had Chris March do her look again.

Jeez do you have to hustle a Best Picture winner off the stage with that obnoxious music?

 I love her as an actress. One of my favorite movies of all time is Orlando.

She and Billy Zane are simply divine in the movie.

Sob story about his father not being able to come to Hollywood for an (Oscar?) award in the 60s and now he has been gone two years, thus didn't see his own kid win? Really, sob.

I thought Viola was the frontrunner. Oscar night should be interesting.

Jane Fonda makes me feel guilty about not exercising. She has back muscles. That's just not fair.

Was that the off-white gown a couple of years ago?

The dog is one of the main characters in "The Artist."

You should try and find the movie (I bet it will be expanding wide this week or next after the Oscar nominations); it is a pure delight.

Meryl Streep, Viola Davis, Michelle Williams, Glenn Close, and who for the 5th nomination? Tilda Swinton? Mara Rooney? The kind of depth in this category at the Oscars this year is soooo :swoon: worthy. I'd give the definite edge to Meryl now though. I've seen both Meryl and Michelle in both movies and I think while both did an excellent job, I think that Meryl does have an edge right now, I think there was a bit more meat in the role for Meryl.

SAG Awards are coming up in a couple of weeks....that should make best actress clearer.
