Nearly all the top ladies this past season attempted triple toe - triple toe combinations.. But whose was your favourite

I agree... Kostners is my favourite and most consistent this season. But big mention must go to Kanako murakami cause hers is also amazing

My favorite was Akiko's, so light and easy looking...and landing your first 3/3 in your late twenties is astounding!

Except she URs the 2nd 3t a lot of the time. It still looks good though :).

I thought Yretha Silete's -3T combos in general (3T+3T, 2A+3T) were both really impressive particularly in the gigantic height she got, but her landings were not so secure.

Not really. ;) 3-3 in the short are always great and as for the long... well, they shouldn't have put it in the 2nd half of the program.

I agree about Leonova. Her 3t-3t is really impressive, especially in person.

I vote for Kanako's SP 3t-3t from 4CC. She just flies into it...the second jump is almost bigger than the first. I just really loved her SP this year. Top 3 favorite again...

Extremely close second place goes to Adelina Sotnikova's 3t-3t at the Youth Olympic Games. Great height, incredible coverage and so smooth and easy...

I know it's from last year and technically doesn't count, but Cheltzie Lee's 3T/3T from Worlds in Moscow was both unexpected (because she had listed a 3T/2T as her combo) and a monster.

I loved this Robin Cousins' designed program, too.

In Europeans, Kostner got the best points for her 3t-3t, but close second was quite surprisingly Juulia Turkkila.

Wow, this combo is very impressive. I find the landing a bit heavy, I don't know how to explain it, because the landing edge is good.
Anyway, I think this combo is so much better than her 3Flutz/3Loop !

3flutz-3lo is worth a lot more points though! 4 more, if executed cleanly, which I guess it never is because of the flutz and then she usually struggles to land the loop cleanly but in any event, 3lz-3lo is "her" special super-difficult move while there are dozens of skaters out there who can do a 3t-3t. However, if you do 3t-3t well, we've seen it sometimes pays off in the end rather than going for a more difficult combo, especially if you have edge problems with one of your flip or lutz jumps. 3t-3t and her huge 3f could be a good SP layout for Adelina as she's trying to rework her lutz technique.
