This isn't really from yesteryear, but I always liked the theme from the TV series Third Watch (a show I loved until the last couple of seasons when it became too much of a soap opera :wall: )

It's actually taken from the song Keep Hope Alive by The Crystal Method.

I'd forgotten how much I loved Roswell until I watched that video. I sense a Roswell marathon coming on during Christmas break. Thanks for the reminder! :D

I don't know anyone who grew up in the 90s who doesn't know all the words to the Saved By The Bell theme song.

For anyone who was a tween/teen in the 60's (and even in the 70's), this one (opening and closing credits) is unforgettable:

So which one did you have a crush on?. Admit it, you had to have liked one (or more) of the cast  .

I always thought Dido's song fit perfectly with the theme of the series. Can't believe this show premiered over 10 years ago.

I'm an 80's kid, so I'm a big sap for all the cheesy 80s sitcom theme songs. These are probably well-known to most, but they're still my favorites even now:

I've always wondered why no one ever skated to the theme from McGyver. They could have had duct tape on their costume. And a safety pin.

Why does no one ever think of the voids? :drama:

Back in the 60's, I always liked Mickey the best, but I've now switched to Peter! :D

My older cousin was madly in love with Davey Jones. She would get as close to the television as she could get and pretend that we was singing just to her...

There was such an effort to make the feminism appear radical and not needed: This show (and this song) came along at the right time.

:swoon: Cachoo listing two of my all-time favorite shows in Cheers and St Elsewhere. (Loved Carnivale, too, for that matter.)

Mark Harmon's mustache. But, hey, such was the fashion back in the day.

:respec: for Peter Tork fandom!! :cheer2:

I always thought Davy Jones was cute (though never a crush of mine), but that stupid Brady Bunch episode when Marcia got him to sing at the school dance destroyed any street cred (if there was such a thing back then  ) by appearing on that show, especially for "Marcia Marcia Marcia!!" :lynch:.

A little OT (or to make it relevant, here's the Theme song from The Brady Bunch), but even as a little kid of five years, Marcia worked my last nerve far more than Jan Brady ever did. The scene when she got beaned in the shnozz with the football was hands-down one of my favorite moments in that show .

Even at young age, I was  X infinity that she ended up going to the dance. My rampant :EVILLE: imagination at the time wanted the guy she ended up going to the dance with who she originally dumped in favor of the school hunk to tell her "oh HELL no after the way you dissed me," forcing her to be stuck at home alone the night of the dance and suffer that karmoic *poink* for being such a snotty, superficial beyotch .

    One of my very favorites!

I don't like the mustache but he is still a honey--what a charmed life.

I wish HBO would have given Carnivale another season. There is so much bad fantasy, sci-fi, paranormal--whatever---it was nice to see that genre done so well.

(Beefcake--we used to simply clear Thursday nights to be a family tv night starting with Cosby and ending with NBC's fine drama's like Hill Street or LA Law. Cheers was always my favorite. This thread brings back good memories.)

I didn't know anyone else ever saw Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. It is always interesting to see these young casts and following their career paths. I forgot that River Phoenix was on this show.
