Wish we could see something like this, with international cast, in the states. Wish I could see it. That would be awesome. I'll look for it on YouTube.

Tell me about it...all the really impressive shows these days seem to happen on the other side of the world. Thank goodness for technology bringing them to all of us.

Fantasy on Ice has been so far one of the few japanese shows with very scarce tv broadcast and of course no videos at all. Fan videos at japanese shows are forbidden. Normally there isn't even much photos. I hope that maybe this year they let a bit more media come...

If you are fast and watch quickly..the videos usually were prohibited by the Japanese organizers...

The show in Fukuoka was aired by CATV for 2 hours last year. I saw a lot of photos and clips online, including Hanyu's 4T-3A-3A-3A-1A in a finale. Let's hope we'll see a lot this year.:)

But it was not aired on any big channel for years before. I think the airing last year was mostly due to more attention to figure skating as an Olympic sport. I still hope that it will be aired this year too.

Does anyone know if the July shows will be aired on tv at all?

Thanks. I would imagine that someone will upload it to Youtube or some other site.

I assume they are choreographing the group numbers for the show?

Lambiel shared this photo from Toyama: http://instagram.com/p/qA2DXnICSP/

That is quite interesting. Does this mean CIC hires different choreographer(s) for each leg of the tour?

Maybe they are working on refining Yuzuru's SP? Is Nam going to debut a new SP in the show as well?

Buttle, Miyamoto and Orser are all in this photo posted by Akiko. Who works as a choreographer, all of them? Or Buttle and Miyamoto work as choreographers and Orser visited there for his students?

IIRC CIC hired Orser and Wilson as choreographers for one of the legs last year, and Nam was invited to the one. I heard the president of CIC said last year that Camerlengo was too busy to work with them, so he ventured to ask Orser when he met him somewhere in Japan. Fantasy on Ice has several collaboration numbers with artists(different artist in each leg), so I assume they need multiple choreographers for each leg. I'm happy to see Buttle works as a choreographer for another show aside from THE ICE and SOI. I'm a big fan of pieces done by him as well.

A rehearsal clip of Toyama show. It has an interview with Akiko, Nobu, Daisuke and Yuzuru too.

I have to say that I haven't been able to find any videos on the net whenever Japanese shows have been broadcast by local TV stations.

    I thought about the same.

Thank you for all the updates on the cast of thousands that are appearing out of nowhere. Nam is so sweet with his enthusiasm but what in the world is Orser doing there? Working with all of his 3 skaters and their SP's? Looks like lots of fun to be had doing these shows. I am also envious of the shows they have on the other side of the world which we will never have the privilege to see. It would be amazing to be able to attend one some day. I do appreciate the updates we receive so am in great debt to the many posters who share links and info.

Dai's shirt: "Mazui gyoza mo oishiin desu" - A terrible gyoza still tastes good.

    Gyoza is Dai-chan's favorite food.

    "Nam kun" (Nam)

    "Habi chan" (Javier)

"Hate to lose or headstrong" (Yuzu)

    "Cat-foot landing" (Nobu)

Nathalie Pechalat tweeted that Yuzuru landed both quad loop and quad lutz(!) in finale. Lutz two footed but rotated.

Thanks for all the news! Pity there are not many. And unfortunately it's really hard to understand something from Google translation of the tweets... :(
