    Boston Globe reporting suspect being transported to Mt. Auburn Hospital; same hospital where transit police officer is recovering from gunshot wound.

    I hope he lives long enough to give the information they want. If he was shot 12 hours ago and has been bleeding out and was shot again, I suspect his chances aren't all that good.

    I agree 1,000% with the person who asked why dogs weren't used???????????? Blood, they could have smelled that a mile away.

    The alternatie is a bunch more dead people. The suspects are dead and in custody and were not able to kill anymore people despite a shootout where they threw another bomb. This is a huge victory for the forces of society against anti-social madmen. I'm sorry for those who can't see it and can't celebrate. But the rest of us are thankful we have such competent law enforcement and that a week that began so horribly ended soon and without more bloodshed.
