Exactly. Very annoying. Evan gets hammered, but Jake or Chad are praised for a worse routine because less is expected of them. :wall: To the extent winning this is important to someone, my advice next season would be to come in and dance adaquately well to start and build as the weeks go on. Don't give it your all the first few weeks even if you have the talent.

It seems a few of you would like to 86 85. :p

DialIdol has three celebs in green/"safe". Not gonna say that this means much nor say who they are (go look for yourself, lazy fingers), but I will loudly say [slight spoiler of DialIdol predictions],
    'BOO' to jealous hausfraus!

This would only work for someone who already has a large fan base from week 1.

I kind of agree with Len that Mak going shirtless was totally unnecessary in his and Erin's routine. It distracted from the routine. Len was wrong though to take it out on Erin.

I thought Nicole looked kind of stiff throughout her Samba. Was she seriously worrying about her camera angle during reheasal? LOL. Honey, you're not Babra Streisand!

I think the best girl on all seasons of DWTS so far was Mya. Her samba with Dimitry last season was great.

I agree. And for all the criticism Evan got for not moving his hips, I thought Nicole was just as guilty. I saw some hip shaking (within the same horizontal plane, if that makes sense), but no hip rolling, which I thought was required in the dance. But apparently I know nothing, because the judges loved her. :barrel

I thought the judges were too hard on Evan so I gave him most of my votes.

This was the first week Pamela did not impress me, I actually liked Chad and Niecy was pretty good but Jake bored me. I am not sure what it is about Nicole, she is a good dancer but I feel that something is off about her.

Last night was the first time I ever thought of Evan as all kinds of hot... I am not sure if it was his outfit or what but he was looking sexy.

Maks fired back at Len after Len's criticism of Maks last night.

I could survive quite happily never seeing another guy dancer with a shirt cut down to his waist. Ditto on the women.

Whew - I had to work late at the office, but I'm glad I stopped to give Evan my cell phone votes while the show was airing! And when I got home and found out how he scored, I hopped online and gave him all my votes (6 different e-mail addresses). Hope my 49 votes helped him!

As long as he survives elimination tonight, I'm thinking a bad scoring week won't much hurt Evan. It'll keep the backlash and "ringer" accusations at bay, at least for a little while. And then hopefully he'll rebound next week... maybe with a 10 or two? :)

Mellisa Etheridge. I'm watching her rather than whoever is singing on AI.

    Love Melissa Etheridge. :)

Geez, Chelsie is the new Cheryl in terms of getting to do the pro dances every week. Not that I don't like her, but spread the freaking wealth.

I sooooo hope we get an Anna/Jonathan dance this season. They're always so stunning together.

Chad and Cheryl for the encore? Seriously?

Can we strap a pair of ice skates and sequins on him and pair him up with some :smokin: OES and force him to ice dance? Pleeeeaaaase?

I keep picturing Maks and Tanith. Oksana Biaul would be hot, but she'd be too short for Maks. Tanith, OTOH would be smoking with him.

Forget Maks and Tanith. I'm know going to force Dmitry and Edyta to skate, or at least stand in the middle of the dance floor while scantily clad (barbk can avert her eyes :p) and doing some sort of look-at-me-I'm-hot shimmy shake.

Is she? She doesn't look that tall. I've always thought she'd handle the sexy Latin dances very well. They've asked MK to be on the show, but I really can't see her doing the samba or rumba. Kristi had issues with the sexy hip movements. Any ice dancer could do them.

While I'm making useless threats and pointless demands, can we kidnap Melissa Etheridge and make her sing every week? I'm not even a huge Etheridge fan but it's so nice to hear someone singing in the same key as the music AND understands what she's singing about.

Nicole, for some reason, you just don't do it to me :shuffle:
Great dancer/performer, but as far as entertainment and personality?!
I prefer almost any other couple... sorry...

BTW, this is my way to say that Nicole is safe.

I think that's what one of the commentators quoted her height as during some pro event. She definitely towered over the likes of Chen Lu and Katia Gordeeva.

I could definitely see Tanith doing well on the show. Just please don't put her with Derek.

Dang, the latter song is my fave Etheridge one, but I was distracted reading Facebook [rumor re: a certain figure skater and hockey player :p :shuffle:].
Did wazzername (new girl) say "flamingo" for flamenco earlier?!

    TPTB would never allow that!

I think they enjoy torturing us. Otherwise, you'd think they'd have heard the complaining and done something about their singers way back during the second season.

Tanith would have to go with Maks or Dmitry. It would be a crime to put her with BlahBlondiePup
