Lambiel and Volosozhar/Trankov are the guests in this annual exhibition show called "Dreams on Ice." Dates are June 24-26 (which city?) -- official site: http://www.onice.jp/

I feel that's going to be a trend next season.:shuffle: Apparently, Ashley Wagner is skating to the same music...

    Anybody got videos?

Wow! I am so excited to see Miki's Black Swan and Takahiko's new program. What was Stephane's program?

Stephane Lambiel seems to have skated to "Prelude in G minor" by Rachmaninoff.

According to some fans' tweets, Takahiko skated to Free Fallin, the gala program from the last season.

The TV program of DOI was broadcasted today, but Stephane's performance was not contained.
But even among Japanese players who participated only the performance of the relatively prosperous players was contained because the air time was short as 1 hour.
In July 9th JST, the TV program of DOI in the satellite broadcasting is being scheduled. Because that air time is longer than today as one hour and 55 minutes, I look forward to his performance, too.
Then it may be that somebody will share his video.

    Are Takahashi/Tran prosperous skaters?:shuffle:

I really like the fact that in the end they broadcast all the show anyway.:)

Just came back from the arena and it was fun.
It's a show during off season yet there were 3A+3A by Hanyu, 4T by Lambiel, and Kozuka doing footwork and spin on hockey blades, not to mention many fabulous new programs. :cheer:

    That's a typo right?

    He didn't really land a 3A/3A...

No, it is not a typo. Were you there tonight? I saw he landing 3A+3A sequence in the program as many other fans. If it was not, what was it?

ETA: my bad, it was not in the program but during the opening.

I'm not calling you a liar or anything.

I just thought you might've meant to type 3a/3t or something.

3a/3a is a little unbelievable, but if that's what you saw fine, I won't question it.

Don't take so much offense. I'm just surprised is all.

ETA: I suppose my above post is probably rather confusing. I meant to edit it and then didn't (got distracted by a game). I guess the phrase I meant to write was 'surely, he didn't land a 3a/3a?...

I heard that it was a 3A-half-loop-3A. That's pretty amazing.

Unbelievable, right? That's exactly why I posted :). Just amazing.

ETA: oh I see. I had taken your post like you were there and you saw something different.

Roxanne, it was not with half-loop, but just with one step from the landing foot to the taking off foot.

Thanks for info! Amazing! 3A-3A by Hanyu and Lambiel still jumping quads :D. Was it good and clean one? Did anyone else jump quad?
Who's new program did you like?

Sorry for the confusion. I'm usually better about posting what I intend right away, but sometimes my posts do need edits. I don't always type complete thoughts before submitting.

Okay, that confuses me. Can you clarify what you mean by that? The way I'm reading it is that he did 3axel then a reverse 3 axel?

That has to be it right? Because I thought you couldn't do a 3axel and then another 3axel in combo on the same takeoff foot without a loop or toe loop in between.

midori posted above that Hanyu landed a "3A+3A sequence" -- NOT a combination.

Thanks to everyone who has posted reports!

This video looks like it features more clips from the DOI show, plus an interview with Miki Ando: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ak9tf1Fv0K8

I am not confident a little whether it is suitable exactly to have called the player who was broadcasted the relatively prosperous skater, but the performance of Takahashi & Tran was broadcasted in June 26th.
