i love their love!
So do I!
Starts September 22nd here in the UK - I can't wait
^ Sure, rub it in!
Downton Abbey's Laura Carmichael on modern romance, vintage magazines and dressing like a granny
Lily James on mischief, drinking tea with Maggie Smith and being inspired by Downton Abbey fashion
Downton Abbey stars share series four secrets
Downton’s back on September 22, and BT.com met the show’s cast to find out what’s in store for all your favourite characters.
I think we may be reaching a point where we need to split the Downton threads. A UK thread where people can talk about the season and a US thread where we can commiserate that we won't get to join in the fun until early January. Because last season I got majorly spoiled and I'm going to try my best not to have the same scenario happen again this season. Pretty please?
Downton Abbey starts in less than 3 hours here in the UK. Need to get my washing up done and then I can settle down to watch in peace
Is someone going to begin a new thread for the UK season?
Any advice on an IP blocker or whatever you call it that would let us Yankees watch itv.com would be SOOO appreciated! The one I had last year quit working 3/4 of the way through the season.
I used expat shield (courtesy of FSU!) when I was on Windows 7, but it doesn't work on Windows 8, so now I'm on the Hola unblocker. It has extensions for chrome and firefox and it worked beautifully when I watched The Great British Bake Off , and I plan on using it fro Downton Abbey too.
If it all fails, there are always torrents to download after it...
My Expat Shield didn't work on Windows 7, they still knew I was a damn Yankee. Is there a British thread where one might get thoroughly spoiled?
Downton Abbey's Mary Dockery reveals that there are 'new love interests for Lady Mary' in

The actress talks about the behind the scenes games the cast play and working with baby George
Well, of course. Did anyone think she'd spend the rest of her days pining for Matthew?
I used expat shield last year for Downton Abbey, but I got viruses and my computer was very slow afterwards. I am sitting on pins and needles waiting for Downton Abbey, but I think I'll just wait until it's on PBS next year. Wish they could show it earlier on PBS.
Television Without Pity's forums are pretty active, and they have a UK thread.
I'm DLing a torrent but not sure how legit it is - I think the show might not even be over yet. Says it'll be here in 45min so we'll see. It should also start showing up on sceper dot eu in an hour or two, popular shows always come up quickly.
Do you guys know when will it be available to watch on demand on the BBC player?
Right after airing, or a couple of days after?
There's always good old pirate bay, there's actually a file there already, but it's most definitely a fake (rar file). But we should have even HD quality files within some hours.
It won't be on the BBC player because it isn't on BBC. ITV show Downton in the UK, the BBC aren't involved in it. ITV have their own player but I don't know how easy it is to get it to work overseas. In the UK, ITV's online players are split up by region and I struggled at one point to get the English version to work on my ipad in Scotland.
I did realize that eventually
And to find out that my country unblocker doesn't work for iTV (although it works like a charm on the bbc player, I'm yet to try on eurosport).
I ended up downloading a torrent file.
We had the start of season 4 here in Finland on Tuesday. No other spolers than it was the best episode for a long time. Maggie S. was splendid in a new way!
You've made me anticipate Jan 5th even more!
I hate the new season and the new dynamics between the characters. I may stop watching it for a time, because it's going downhill !
