Yes, "the Moms" are two terrific ladies, so friendly and appreciative to Meryl and Charlie's fans. Love how much they support them, too, I know that has been such a bonus for their career as well as their lives off the ice. And let me say "the Dads" are pretty awesome, too!

It sounds like it would taste really chalky.

Finally a chance to see Meryl getting her Gangnam on! I still regret not trying to film her doing it at SA but she appeared magically at the far end of my row and I am short so it would mostly have been footage of all the tall people next to me and Charlie's head looking studious with his glasses on.

Well, it is called Short and Long Program in all other disciplines, so given all the rules COP has imposed on the Free Dance it might be a good idea naming it Long Dance since it's not really "free" anymore.

I love when you get a chance to see Meryl cut loose. She's got this mischievous streak that comes through that's just great.

I love that they used the clip from 2009 Worlds K&C to demonstrate "fair play". A great example of their sportsmanship which they have demonstrated more than once through the years.

I love Meryl's mischievous streak, too!

A great video, especially Charlie's line: "How you act when you win or lose says a lot about you." That clip, with someone yelling "That's too low" and Meryl shushing the audience, always gets me.

    Finally, gangnam style!!

Yeah, she definitely had the better moves to that piece and looked like she was really enjoying herself.

Wonder how many 10's we'll see all together with their programs at grand prix final?

Thread drift..I was looking around for info about Sochi and to see if I could find any practice reports and stumbled upon this Olympic Trivia page on Tumblr. It has some really neat pics of current and past olympics.

    That's awesome.

I so cannot wait until Sochi. Except for the fact that it will probably be the end of some great teams. :scream:

I'm so sad that only part of the pre GPF teleconference is up on IN. It cuts off after 5 minutes. :(

I know it's a ways off, but the fact that everyone is in Sochi right now makes me anxious for the Olympics. Lol I'm such an Olympics nerd, I get so excited for them so far in advance :p And I'm sure that D/W have an idea of what they'd like to do for next season (as most teams do most likely), and I can't wait to find out (even though we have a year of waiting to do hahaha).

Again, thinking way too far in advance, but Sochi is doing it to me hahah. Next season I really hope they have an FD that is a true marriage of power and elegance, something that harnesses a quiet power. I always say I'd love to see them use a classical piece (a la Beethoven, lol) and I think the Olympic season would be the perfect time to pair classical music...to something more modern and intricate in choreography. Notre Dame is a good step in that direction IMO, and it can only continue to grow over the rest of the season. I love the result of working with Alex Wong, and I hope they seriously considering calling him in a few more times before Worlds. Hey, I even vote for him to choreograph their Olympic FD! :)

Anyone else up and watching? (Well technically I'm probably in one of the earliest time zones and you all have probably been up and about for hours, but you know what I mean :p)

Yay Meryl and Charlie improved on their season's best and are sitting in first. I'm really itching to see the judges score posted, I want to see where they improved (since it all looks brilliant to my simple eye).
