Yeah, gotta love the way Jack didn't mention that his long-lost daughter was conceived when he was in a long-term relationship with another soap star who was also pregnant with his kid at the time.

Looks like next week's theme is rock & roll. Hmm....

AT&T Spotlight Performance: special waltz performance of Jonathan and Anna, dedicated to their friend Julia Ivleva, a successful ballroom dancer who's been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. (((Julia)))

Jonathan and Anna's performance is gorgeous as always.

Err....am I the only one watching tonight? :shuffle:

    Sheri/Val are safe.

Looks like the show is bringing back the "Dance for Your Life" concept, starting next week. Bottom two will dance for their lives and judges decide who goes. Hmm!

Macy's Stars of Dance performance featuring Twitch and a funk-sounding band. They're pretty fun to watch, but I always thought of Twitch as a hip hopper, so this seems different for him!

I'm travelling and can't watch, but thanks for the updates. Mark Ballas coming in to defend Kym from Jaleel being a jerk makes me like him more. And no matter how big the confrontation, I really can't imagine any legitimate reason for being a jerk to Kym. She's handled a number of difficult celebs well in the past and doesn't seem to be particularly high strung.

That's probably for the best. Everytime I see them performing live on shows they sound awful. :scream:

So that means Gavin/Karina and Jack/Anna are the Bottom Two

Going home are..... Jack and Anna

    Aww.....I'll miss Anna! :(

What happened to Jack's General Hospital fanbase?

Thanks for the info. Hmm, maybe some of the top scores and/or better dancers are not pulling in enough votes that they want to avoid a Sabrina Bryan mishap.

    I was wondering that myself...

Of course they could help their own cause by not bunching the scores so much. It seemed like everybody got a bunch of 8's last night!

I really hope Jaleel goes home next week. FREE KYM!!!

OMG, Julia looks so frail...when she was diagnosed I kept thinking of Rena and how it's not ABSOLUTELY a death sentence but.... :( I remember seeing her at Manhattan Dance Challenge doing a Standard event in that black and white striped dress-that's as badass as it gets with Standard because with no floats and all those horizontal lines you're basically screaming "GO AHEAD AND LOOK AT MY TOPLINE, IT'S PERFECT!"

And THIS made an impression when I'd barely even started dancing:

A lovely tribute from Anna and Jonathan.

First time glancing at it; how the heck can people be getting all snarktastic over Melissa's obvious plastic surgery and say NOTHING about the mannequin who used to be Jack Wagner?? Yikes!

I'm not a fan of the new elimination method. Nothing about this show is "real" but at least you knew whoever was voted off was the one that people wanted to see go for whatever reason.

 Jack Wagner does look like he's had work done. But, I think Melissa's looks worse. The whole finding his daughter thing bothered me. It just felt a bit contrived.

    Ya think?
He doesn't even look like himself when he was younger.

Unfortunately. "show business" invites these excesses.
If you want to continue working, you must appear "youthful".
Many take it to extremes, unfortunately.

I think it's more that Melissa looks different to more people--I've seen her when she was younger. I haven't got the slightest idea who Jack Wagner is. The soap audience is slipping big-time (hence soaps that have literally been on the air since before television getting cancelled, and insert your own joke about the plot having progressed two weeks in-story here) and I don't think there's a huge crossover any more with the DWTS audience.

I think the daughter is 23 and the son is 21. And maybe Jack and Kristina were on a break.

There is an interview with Susan Sarandon in PEOPLE magazine this week. She admits to having had liposuction around her eyes and under her chin, but she also says something to the effect of there is no point in having so much plastic surgery that you look like a female impersonator of yourself

I think he looks exactly the same, but 25 years older.

He's probably had some work done, but he's got lines in his face. The man loves golf, so he's in the sun probably more than he should be. He appears to be very fit. Obviously, the hair is dyed, but I think it's his. I guess I see something different than you see. I see a nice looking, 50-something man who's aged relatively well.

I thought Jack Wagner is much better looking than that Latin guy (can't think of his name) that everyone is screaming about all the time. Yeah, he's got the "sexy" Latin thing going and has a great body and all from a distance, but when they show close-ups of his face, I just don't get it.

And I'm sorry to be snarky, but I just have to put this out there somewhere - every time I see Mark Ballas, I think his head is so small. Especially next to whichever female he's dancing with. And it's not just the female's big hair next to his short hair. Weird, I know, but it really crosses my mind eveery single time.
